I went skiing today on Mount Rainier. It's only about an hour away from my house.
Here are a couple pictures I took.
    First is the mountain.
The cotton ball looking cloud on the right is what was left of the clouds as we were leaving on the way out.

The second is a lenticular cloud. These usually cap the top of the mountain and usually mean really nasty weather on the summit.
This was taken on the way up, the remnants of the cloud are visible on the right side of the photo above.

    Beautiful Bong!

I would love to go out there someday. I miss mountains...
We also don't see many of the lenticular clouds out here...

About a year ago, I was on a business trip in Seatle and took a half day to do the tourist thang. Went up on the needle and that day they said it was really clear and I could see all 3 mountains. It was gorgeous! Only had a cell phone camera but still made for a nice pic.
