A month or so short of 4 years.
I won't go there Keith. (double-entendre intended).
I don't get the big deal. It's not like he is admitting to using it for his "Manscaping".
If you mean shaving purchases, I completely understand.
Your silence is deafening.
I gave up cartridge razors in 2006.
I’ve been using DEs for 2-2 1/2 years now. My boyfriend told me that I’d probably save money if I switched, so to convince me he ordered me a cheap one off Amazon w/ the 100 count of Astra SPs . Smoothest legs and I’ve saved so much money, plus I actually enjoy shaving now.
Congratulations, Welcome to The Shave Den, and your first post. Wander over to the "Welcome Center", and introduce yourself.
Good to hear! Glad you decided to join us at TSD.
June 16, 2016. My wife gave me a DE for my birthday, and even on my first shave it was better than the Fusions, Mach3s, Sensors, etc.
Never looked back since then, although I keep a few Sensor cartridges around for flights.
A week ...
About 3 months.
6 years, but for the past year no shaving at all. lost the will.... I am getting close to shaving soon stocking up on after shaves, soaps and for Fathers day I splurged on a bunch of new old razors.. So maybe real soon.
Its split in the household. my son wants me to keep the beard and my daughter wants it gone, she says I look homeless... My wife would have wanted it gone too so off it shall go soon (baby steps, cant rush these things)
Some fine razors. Fatboys were, and still are my favorite DE razors. I've since moved on to Straights, a couple of years ago.
DE razors are cool, so I use 'em. Carts are cool, so I use 'em. I even souse my soap sometimes. Other times, I don't.
Everybody likes me. Or not.
I'm just here to help all you 'untitled' lug nuts get your own own CT!
So, what you are saying , in a nutshell/poke in the eye, is that you still use carts, and dont care what people think???
Then again this thread isn't meant to draw hostility, just allow those of us who had problems with carts state how long they have been cart free, and how they now feel. Some, like you, have no problems with carts, but, a large majority of us have, due to various reasons, out of our control.
I'm just having a little fun. Seems like folks take this discussion pretty serious. Whatever floats your boat. I've been told a cat could lick the whiskers off my face, so I'm probably the exception to the rule.
Don't you have some train tracks to go play on...........
