I use Reuzel red or green. Red is water soluble and green is a grease pomade Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
I've used this for quite a few years now. You can use it when your hair is either wet or dry (for different effect), you can use a lot or a little, it's a nice medium hold that lasts a long time, and you can reactivate it later in the day with water. I've tried a few other products here and there but always seem to have this on the shelf. Also I might add that it works fine for either short or long hair.
That lotion looks interesting! I've got shoulder length hair which I put in a ponytail most of the time. Plus my job requires me to wear a hairnet so control & looks are not a top priority for me most of the time. Still when I'm off work I need something which controls my frizzy long straight hair and helps keep it out of my eyes. The two products which have helped are American Crew Firm Hold Styling Gel and Paul Mitchell Soft Sculpting Spray Gel. My hair tends to fall sideways from left to right. Using the mentioned products it stays for the most part straight back.
I've picked up a few "gels" from time to time and tend to use them after my perm is more than six months old but my hair is a bit fine so they can be heavy. Usually what I do is make sure my hands are extra wet to cut the gel a little. That or I'll use the lighter lotion and then add a gel at the temples and over the ears to keep it out of my face on a breezy day. I haven't tried the Paul Mitchell Soft Sculpting Spray Gel so I might have to pick one up.
Groom n' Clean. Good stuff, wish I'd found it sooner. If you ever come across vintage Avon Hair Protein for Men, it's also good stuff.
If you see the Pontiac Indian head, that's one it was frequently bottled in. Snoopy with the blue hat as well.
A very lightweight, slightly bluish liquid with very little scent. I think they also sold it as a hair trainer since they had it in several of the sport type bottles for boys (ball glove, ball cap, etc)...back when the dry look hadn't fully taken over. Like most Avons, I've yet to find a bottle that's gone bad.
