+ another, I really like this stuff, no itchy head either which has been a problem with others.

I have very thick curly/waivy hair. So I use either Goldwells curl definition treatment conditioner or Pantene curl defining mousse. But I'm sure this probably isn't of use to most folks.

Rendered chipmonk fat is even better! (I wont mention the joys of using products made from endangered species......)

a mixture of bag balm and castor oil.

yes, im old fashioned when it comes to my hair.

Neither have I. A mixture of a product used to soften and moisturize cows' udders with some antiseptic properties and something you threaten kids with if they misbehave. I think there are some unresolved issues here. :D

well, i usually only use the combo right after i get a haircut (a bald, BALD fade). after that, i pretty much only use the bag balm. i figure it has the petroleum to keep my hair in place and the lanolin to soften it. it works suprisingly well.

Bag Balm is a household staple around here. I think I have 4 tins of it. Used mostly for wound care on the horses or wound and minor burn care on people. It was the only stuff that saved me from losing a third layer of skin on a very nasty sunburn on my legs that landed me in bed for two days. Nice to see an innovative use for it.

  10. I shampoo with Molton Brown.

I gel with Hard Up Gel.

I keep my hair short and it really needs something to keep it from looking like someone cut my hair with a bowl over my head. I need a sturdy gel that really does the job and lasts all day, and this one works pretty well for me.

I use Redken and American Crew products. Usually dont use gel, as I prefer pastes and pomades. Really good products, but as always make sure you wash your hair according to your particular hair type.

Even as I post this picture I really feel sorry for this family. They have had their photo posted all over the Internet.

I wanted to start another thread about this but decided not to b/c I am sure its been mentioned. I just discovered Brylcreem.....OMG! I switched to H&S shampoo b/c i thought I had dandruff. No, it was my hair gel flaking. Ever since I switched to Brylcreem.....perfect. Hair is soft....bit of shine and no flaking. very nice stuff and glad it is still around.

Its too bad it took me so much time to find it though! I thought having your hair crunchy was the norm for the last 15 years? I did find Nancy Boy gel quite nice but expensive as hell! Brylcreem is it for me.

oh man don't get me started, I have big curly hair so I use (assume it's redken) volume shampoo and conditioner followed by a volume foam then I put a product called guts in which is a foaming volume cream and then I use a blow dryer with a defuser head.

Ive started using Murrays Cream Bees Wax. Its actually pretty nice stuff that holds very well and washes out very easily.

Way too many things for a guy. I keep my hair longer than average for guys (about 3-4 inches or so).

My hair can also get dry and frizzy, so I put some things in there to prevent that from happening. I use an anti-frizz shampoo, some leave in conditioner, and some Paul Mitchell smoothing serum every morning.

Keeps my hair from poofing up and saves me from looking like an anime character with bad hair.

Since my hair is short, I'll use Brylcreem or Lucky Tiger Rose hair dressing with lanolin.

A little goes a long way.
