Mine came in high school , I was first in my crowd to get my driver license .A buddy of mine would rag on me of going to the Rabidmonkey school of driving , liked the name , been a nickname every since, some odd 20 years .
For those who know what Slivovitz is, I don't even drink. It's a semi-private joke of mine, but also it's one that I've used in a couple of other forums, and why waste a perfectly good moniker?
I gotta tell ya I mis-read this title thinking it was a different thread. I think of our user names as login names. To call them stage names, means to perform. So I was thinking this was a game of if you had a porn name, what would that name be? Perhaps we can do that thread later. The Name Lavachild was stolen from my studies of mythology. It was an old Polynesian creature that lived in volcanoes. What I found interesting about them was they were oblivious to metal. Metal simply did not exist as far as they were concerned. You could swing a sword at them and it would pass through them like they were made of air. I never wanted to have a login that required me to put a number behind it. Who wants to be known as Tom17 or Roger34? Lavachild is obscure enough that it usually has not been taken. But you would be surprised how often I find I still need to add a number or two. Many years ago I learned how to breath and eat fire from a magician I knew. I have also built a garden fountain in my backyard that has both water and fire in it. So, it just seemed appropriate I take on the persona of a Lavachild. The irony is if I truly was one, the razor blade would never work on me due to it’s metal nature. I guess I just like doing dangerous things.
Positive or negative? My wife is a blood specialist. The + or - can be more important then if it is O. Just want to get the right type for you should it be needed.
Ky because I live the the state of Kentucky and hunter because thats what I enjoy. Maybe I should have said outdoorsman because I enjoy all the great outdoors has to offer but it was just to long for me.
My name comes from the fact: My facial hair still looks like pubic hair + a lot of bare spots:happy102 That doesn't discourage me from wet shaving, should it?
I was in 2003 in a unit in Ft Bragg that had the luck to deploy to Iraq that same year and my Platoon earn the name coffin makers because of all the action we saw in that year in the city of Mosul,I don't think the handle CoffinMaker would had been nice to use in a shaving forum so wood was the closest I could think off,not much creativity us Infantry types..:
Slip&Slide = Chose it from back in the time when life was soooo much less complicated... Not really sure if they had these things outside of the U.S. though...
