I already did, and yes. I have more to put in than I'm taking out. Probably have to move my contributions to ziploc bags to make them fit.
@RyX has let me know that the box will be on the move soon! @IDuck is the next lucky recipient. On deck is @fishcrow. We're moving right along!
That's what I had to do with the Green Dragon. The tub was only half full (from the retailer) and I couldn't justify the wasted space in the box...
The Box is fixing to leave the building. Here's what I added. The contents before sealing. I'll post expected delivery date when I get the info.
Can't believe the box! It's so packed full. It was full when I first sent it out and everyone keeps adding to it. Not sure how it all fits!
I do believe I got samples of those three. I'm at the post office ATM. The Box gained weight! Leaving me at 10lbs, 13.8oz. Tapatalk Via Kyocera
That is an option. You can sample without swapping. In total I pulled 32 samples. I did swap out a nearly full tub, but put in enough to increase the weight by more than 3/4 pound. Since I shave every 24-36 hours that's my next months plus a week or more. Well worth the just less than $20 to ship, passing along soaps I didn't use, and finding the one tub I did like.
Happy Thursday From Florida! Hot Shower RAB Scuttle Maggard London Barber Shoppe Vey/Mac Flat Top R41 Astra SP (2) Cold Water Rag Pe Re Ja Lemon Cologne 2-passes - DFS+++! Upon putting the soap in the bowl, I knew I would be breaking out the Turkish lemon cologne. The Maggard soap smells like lemons to me. I have never been in a barber shop in London, so I will just have to believe that they smell like this soap, which smells nothing like an American barber shop that I have ever been in. The soap is an outstanding performer. Lots of glide, cushion and quite moisturizing. Have a Great Day Y'all!
I agree that the London Barbershop smelled like lemons. Always thought that was a little odd. Glad it worked well for you!
It is working quite well. Almost three hours later and my face is very soft and smooth. Really good stuff.
Mitchell's Wool Fat, Omega #10098 '46-'47 Aristocrat, Fresh Personna FHU Alum block, M&L Florida Water AS/cologne Posting 9 hours after this use of MWF. Between the tallow and lanolin my skin is not dry. I've used many tallow soaps and recently several lanolin enhanced so I knew no sensitivities or allergies would prevent me from enjoying. I took 2 samples from the baggie because this soap is well spoken of. First one reinforced my preconception of "difficult to lather". Much better this time. Although the boar brush held quite a bit of lather, I achieved acceptable results. Lacking much of any detectable scent it's balanced by decent performance. Plenty of slickness & decent residual film for touch up buffing. MWF is OK, but not a soap I'd rave about. If they'd introduce a scented version or three I'd be more enthused. Thanks to The Pass Around it's been demystified!
Great! Glad you could try it without a bigger investment. I personally love Mitchell's and use it every Friday. To each his own - no judgment from me if it's not for you. That's one of the big reasons to have the pass-around in the first place - try soaps and find some that work for you or don't!
Thanks to the unusual system of the USPS The Box has traveled 130 miles east before heading west to Shawn @IDuck. Only 2000+ miles to go with an ETA of Friday 03/03.
@RyX, I think you live in the postal service equivalent of the Bermuda triangle... Seems like strange things happen to packages near you!
The rest of the Nation is under American style English Common Law. Louisiana got stuck in French history where we have Napoleonic Law. Could explain why I can get The Veg in local Beauty Supply shops.
