I know. I was planning on Nickel, but after thinking about it for about a year I decided that I REALLY wanted Rhodium.

The shave was fine. DFS grade for sure. Only had an issue along my left jawline which is always a problem with me, being right-handed. The Palmolive shave stick was extra good today for some reason. Face and head lathered it. A few additional water dips with the brush and the lather exploded nice and fluffy. Really noticed the lubrication on the head shave with the Eversharp injector. Yes sir, pleased with today's adjustable shave.

Dialed the Gillette Black Beauty adjustable all the way up to №. 9, lathered pretty much everywhere above my shoulders and went to work. Fantastic head and face shave. Had to take some extra passes on the neck.
awesome adjustable shave and pics Jody...i had a mint/complete m-4 slim set that was my birthyear /quarter..sold it though..still have my g-4 slim.
Awesome! I just cannot recall a single time that I have ever gotten a bad shave out of any of the Gillette adjustables... Fat Boy, Slim, BB... All great. I use my uncle's Slim from time to time as well. He loved that darn razor and used it from the time he bought it in 1962 until he passed away last year. He always took good care of it. I remember asking him one time long before I started wet shaving myself, about the 3-in-One oil he was putting on it one day when I was over at his house. He literally coated it and squeezed it down into the handle, that oil. Now that it is mine, I understand it. It moves and adjusts and everything as if it were brand new. I started using the oil on my BB, as well as continue using it on his Slim.
I updated my post to reflect this, but I don't guess it is really specifically sewing machine oil even though people use it as such. It's called 3-in-One and it's what he used and what I use now.
