    Today's adjustable shave features...
    • SE Adjustable GEM-style razor made by @SlimGem . Adjustable via changing the guard plates to one of the three that come with it.
    • 1950s NOS GEM Stainless Steel SE blade
    • 1950s Made in Canada Fuller brush, restored 10ish years ago with a TGN 22mm Super-grade 3-band badger hair knot
    • 1960s Gillette Regular Lather Shave Cream
    • 7" suribachi bowl

    Super crazy how awesome the shave is from this fine razor! A BBS Saturday and did not even have to chase it around the playpen! lol Every time I use this razor, I am literally amazed at the results.

    The more I use it the better! I love shaving with it. The experience I've gained over the last few months shaving with the same razor everyday has been invaluable. I'd say that it all clicked back in early July and this 62 year old razor is giving me the best shaves of my life!

    just a fabulous 2 pass shave with the g-4 slim/platinum combo.
    fantastically slick arko face lather with the bbj 10098 boar.

    Never having done a side by side with my two Apollo Mikrons I decided it was time. Brushless shave, homemade oil, BIC blades, both set at five stops (different dial calibration in the two). I've used the bigger 50s model more often than the more svelte 60s model and appreciated the easier handling of the latter. The newer was also a bit noisier. Both smooth and efficient, no third party pickups this day.[​IMG]

Two passes and touch ups with the TARMAX Razor by Tom set on 8 with an Astra SP Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
