Soda or pop?

    For native Georgians it is most often just Coke with an occasional soda.

    I do love RC and MoonPie - I am so thankful for Cracker Barrel since they sell the original single stuff moon pie.

    also, according to the map, they re quite confused on both Nevada and New Mexico over this whole pop/soda/coke issue….;)

    Soda here. When I got married, it took me about five years to get my wife to stop saying pop. I finally won, LOL.

    I'm from Central Illinois. Some people call it soda, some call it pop. I always called it soda.

    Back in FL we called everything a Coke. When someone asked if you wanted a coke it wasn't strange to ask "What kind?" in return.

    I remember a Scottish lad I was in the army with, he asked if I wanted a juice. I asked what he had thinking maybe orange, or Apple. He said " coke or lemonade".
    Myself. In England. Pop is far more common than soda. But it's rare anyone uses a collective name for all fizzy drinks. Normally if there was options and you were asking someone what they wanted. You'd probably start listing all the variants. Seems silly now I've read this piece. I'm gonna bring the term soda to the forefront.
