First things first, high five to whoever the other person was that voted for Cocobolo. Second, Bill... how do you go about just building a secret room in a house that's already finished? BTW- that razor is beautiful. really hoping I win that baby.
The razor is done, honed, and ready for the first shave by the new owner. The edge feels really good and should make a great shaver in any rotation. I do not shave with my razors as it would make them... USED. It's a quarter-hollow 7/8 Irish point with yellow heart scales and a couple tiny embellishments. I'll take pics tomorrow...

You have the gift of understatement in your work Bill!! Beautiful, elegant, and yet simple!! Methinks you have the touch of a true artist! Mark Avery
WOW!!! What a razor! Someone will be very happy next weekend! It's a marvelous job, Bill! And BTW, you do take excellent photos as well!
ah - i'm falling in love.... when bill had the scales choices, i thought the yellow heart would be my last choice, but i did vote for bill's choice. now i know i was right.... to vote the way i voted that is. i really like how it is simple and understated. i keep thinking it's got somewhat of a wild west character to it, can't really explain why... well, that is some great work bill! simply outstanding! sooo, is it raffle time yet?
We use only one word to describe something like this in Aus " RIPPER " that about says it all ,unless I have to write it fifty times ofcourse well done Bill Kind regards Peter
Fantastic Job Bill. I really need to win this razor. It is just what I've been looking for spec wise. Damn. Now I have to go to church Saturday morning and light a few candles and say a few prayers. Oh, and a conversation or two with the Shave Gods. I'm trying to cover all the bases. Maybe I can pretend St. George is Patron Saint of Wet Shaving. He's already got England, Boy Scouts and Horse Riders under his belt. Now where is my Bill Ellis Voodoo doll. I need to practice it picking my name out of a hat.
