First time I've heard of an Irish Point. Interesting shape. Beautiful Blade.
Getting to Know Your Straight Razors by Phillip L. Krumholz. 1999 pp21
That's ok though, 'cause I can't find any references in print that say it's a French tip.

Now you know what that pain in the A? ,I mean neck was.
I wonder if that constitutes a re- draw for the top prize because of unfair advantage , maybe we should have a vote on it
Kind regards Peter
PS I hope Bill dosen`t have to put up with a niggling pain from now on every time our friend is stropping his new razor

LOL, that is too funny Bill, and all the French razors ( not a lot ) I have seen or own.....none of them have the so called "French Point / Tip"
That book sounds interesting, may have to check it out. Thanks!
Just wanted to express my humble appreciation for your fine craftsmanship and dedication to the art and science of making straights. Hope to own one of your blades at some point in the future.

You know the French. It's like French Fries right?
Yeah, and the point should be called Freedom Point... right?
