well, that's a good point-I see some "originals" around, and I only PRESUME they are Shultons. But we know what happens to those who "presume", right?

Just to clarify Shulton sold the Old Spice brand to Proctor & Gamble in 1990. P&G still makes "original" Old Spice, but they have either changed the formula (which they deny), or are sourcing cheaper, lower quality ingredients. The current stuff does not smell like the vintage. If you want Shulton Original Old Spice you have to find a bottle produced before 1990.
This is similar to what happened to Rise "Super Foamy". It ain't the same fragrance as that which Dick Butkus, Jerry Lucas, and Andy Robustelli used on their TV ads.
