Fantastic BBS shave this morning. The Latha loaded easily and produced tons of slick lather. A splash of Witch Hazel followed by Myrsol Blue to finish off.

    Prep: Hot shower
Soap: TSD Barber Shoppe shave stick
    Brush: Omega 13522
    Razor: Cadet OC
    Blade: Voskhod
Post: Witch Hazel, Nivea Sensitive Balm
    Scent: Tommy Bahama Very Cool

Great 2 pass shave again today. I still struggle under my nose with the Cadet. Tricky to maintain the shallow angle this thing likes while working around the ole beak.

I have to say I really enjoy your pictures. You always seem to have great lighting that really shows off the brushes, and the outdoor backdrops are great.

Could not wait till I got home before trying the L'Occitone Cade shaving cream. This stuff is amazing. When they say rich on the label, they mean it. It lathered easily and is extremely slick to the touch. One of the first shaves where I considered not using aftershave because my face felt so good post shave.

image.jpg Razor: Gillette New LC Bar Handle 1930s Big Boy wood case
Brush: Fuller Amber Badger 1920s -1940s
Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue
    Cream: Jack Black cream
    Blade: Feather (2)
Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black Post Shave Gel, Pinaud Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum
Another shave with the Gillette New LC, and I'm looking forward to another good shave with it. Loaded a Feather blade, and checked the alignment. Looks good and I'm really liking this razor, and I'm done looking for a better blade. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Whipped up some Jack in the OS Mug. Very nice two pass shave with some touchup on my trouble spot on my neck. No buffing today to give my face a rest. Warm water rinse and pat dry. Some WH and after cleanup some JB balm. Finished up with some Bay Rum. Nice lazy rainy Saturday morning.... Back in my 'Wayback Machine'...

Beautiful razor Kevin! I've read that the same company that made Beau Brummel also made the Dubl Ducks.

After being here for a month, and seeing all your awesome pics, I have to ask! Where on God's green earth do you live to get such incredible background pics? Or do you just send them right from Heaven!!! :signs154:

    today's shave
hot water wash with dove+ care
    Parker pure badger
    BOMBED Pyrate' cove lavender
    ikon shavecraft 101
    Ladas(1)
    ICED Aqua Velva musk
today's shave was nice. so many choices, somethings get needlessly overlooked for new items. I'm gonna search for simplicity without sacrificing variety. Pyrate' cove is a good soap. three passes with the shavecraft, I'm very bbs(maybe too much so). I think it's weight and quiet nature are why this razor gets an aggressive reputation. finished with iced musk.
hope y'all did as well, or better. 20150418_121205-1.jpg

Shave of the week for me this morning. I get along really good with TOBS soaps (and creams) and the Lotus did just fine. Smooth, close and comfy.
    Have a good one.
