Well, that would have been quite difficult as the 'bird' is a 6 metre structure that is bolted securely on the walk-way. :lyrtuy5:

    Sandalwood Saturday

    Prep: Hot shower, PSO
    Razor: '56 Gillette Super Speed
    Blade: Gillette 7 O'clock Stainless (1)
    Brush: Omega 80080 Boar Brush
    Soap: TSD Sandalwood sample
Post: Cold rinse, Alum block, TSD Sandalwood AS Milk :love055:

Received this Super Speed on Friday and got really jazzed up to try it! :happy036:
Nice DFS today! I only got slight irritation around the neck area from going ATG.
I can see now why the Super Speed is recommended to newbies. Much more forgiving than my Merkur 34C.

    Stirling Sheep facial soap
    Merkur 37C slant bar razor
    Feather blade (day 1)
    Kent BK8 silvertip badger brush
    Arko & glycerin
    Two passes plus touch-ups
Alum, Thayer's Lavender witch hazel, unrefined shea butter, and Alt-Innsbruck

I had another great shave on this beautiful Saturday. The month of April is my first extended run using Arko, and it is a fine soap. I have enjoyed following everyone's posts this month!

    Shave#7: SSDD

Observation: We shave a living, ever-changing integument. Every day there are small differences in skin elasticity, subcutaneous fat for face shape, the skin changes in reaction to the previous technique, even what we eat determines the oilyness and texture of our hide.

My technique is improving. I did some dry shaving - very carefully - to better feel the blade interaction.

    Prep: hot bath
    Razor: Weishi long handle
    Blade: Yung Li
    Brush: Vie Long Horse Hair
    Soap: Nivea shaving gel, sensitive
    After: Generic witch hazel

Madame and I are going out soon with some friends for supper so I'll announce my shaving plans for tomorrow now.

    Sunday morning:

Neutrogena Men Facial Wash :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Large Horsehair Barbershop
    Super Speed/Personna day 7
Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill SS :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
Gold Bond Moisturizer :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
Stirling Glacial Wintergreen WH :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:

Although the Cryogen soap from Chiseled Face Groomatorium is awesome I'm still first and last a true and devoted Stirling Glacial man and these soaps are and will always be my number one favourites. The Lemon Chill has everything I love and look for in a soap - scent, ease of lathering, skincare, and price. The Glacials are still bone-chillingly frigid, and they always satisfy my menthol cravings. The Gold Bond moisturizer is also plenty cold, and the Glacial Wintergreen witch hazel is a real menthol atom bomb. ;) :D

Using a rice bowl is inventive, it is a good, moderate size and is available in many patterns. I am trying bowls and mugs of different sizes and composition.

    Shave of the Day

    Prep: hot shower
    Razor: Shick Type G Injector
    Blade: Schick
    Brush: New Forest 2204
    Lather: Stirling Sharp Dressed Man
    Shave: 2 passes; WTG, ATG
    Post: Stetson Cooling Moisture

This injector took down 5 days of growth with no problems, and I could've stopped at one pass and been acceptable for everyday. Went for perfection with a second pass, no cleanup pass needed. Impressive work by the Schick.

Hardly any sting from the Stetson tells me it was a great shave.

    LET'S GO BLUES!
