    Jayaruh WC4 HMB
    Schick M2 Adjustable
    Personna Stainless
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Lemon WH
    Aqua Velva

The ARKO Extra Performance Shave Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh WC4 High Mountain Badger Brush. Two passes with my Schick M2 Adjustable razor and a Personna Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor: Muhle R89 head on a Maggard MR1 handle (3rd time using)
    Blade: Platinum Lux (5)
Soap: Arko Red tub (1st time trying)
    Bowl: VDH
    Brush: Tweezerman
Post: Gentleman Jon Alum block (not in pic)

Preshave was just face wash with warm water and post shave was rinse with warm water then some cold water splashes and pat dry! Added the Alum block today!

Razor: Decided to tryout the R89 head on the MR1 handle as I have had the head around for awhile now from a trade deal. It matched up with a Platinum Lux produces a great shave. I was very impressed with the shave and combination so far. The razor does NOT seem like it is too mild. The way the head is designed it actually seems to show more blade than my ATT M1 and I really like that!

Blade: This is my fifth shave with it and it still feels sharp so I am liking this blade alot. I like it just as much if not more than my go-to Astra SP.

Soap: This is the first time I used the Arko in the Red tub. To me it actually lathers easier than the stick. Very easy and quick! Just load some on the brush and face lather it in. I had enough on the brush for the three passes plus a little left over. My go-to in the Arko stick but after today, I may use this puck up and smash my sticks into it so I can keep using it this way!!

Comments: Shave was very good, a DFS all the way and dang close to a BBS in most areas even the jawline and neck. No nicks or irritation based on the Alum block feedback. The blade still feels sharp enough to use in tomorrows shave for a 6th day but I will change it out anyway so I dont want to chance it causing a bad shave!

Please feel free to leave comments on any items used as I enjoy reading them to see what others say about the gear I am using/trying out!

    Thx.

    For my Wednesday morning shave:

Neutrogena Men Facial Wash :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Omega Black Handle
    Super Speed/Personna day 3
Gada Cool Mint SC :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Lubriderm Unscented Moisturizer :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055:
Mennen Skin Bracer AS :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:

I want to start enjoying my new Omega brush and to get it broken in so I'll continue that process with one of the cheapest, but one of the best creams out there. The Gada Cool Mint is very popular with the large Lebanese community here in Montreal because of its great scent, rich lather, and very cooling and pleasant skincare. The Skin Bracer is such an awesome aftershave - it's absolutely necessary for my rotation. I love the scent and cooling sensation so much. My Personna blade cleaned me up so well this morning, and I'm looking forward to another great shave with it again. ;) :D

    Soap - MWF
    Brush - Turkish #6
    Razor - Merkur 15C
    Blade - Ladas (2)
    As - Pinaud Clubman

    Well very disappointing shave today.
First my Turkish #6 will now be know as Fido, the darn thing sheds like a dog...
Second, after using an aggressive razor (Rockwell 6S #5) for a while I have been accustomed to close DFS/BBS shaves. Now the Merkur 15C, for me, is way to mild and barely provided a better shave than my travel razor, the Yuma. The shave wasted a great lather, even if i had to pick about a dozen hairs off my face and razor from Fido.....I think I have to turn the 15C loose, after reviewing my notes on the razor, for me to mild, similar to my 1966 Schick Eversharp. Will likely be turning both loose soon unless my wife wants to try them....
Oh well, tomorrow is another shave

Shave #4. First time using a brush, a Vie-Long horsehair. Why not badger? 'Cuz people said it was a bit stiffer and I like the sensory feedback.
    Lessons learned:
    - A brush creates a better lather than your fingers. Horsehair works fine.
    - Tighten down the razor! Left the TTOpen a bit loose and dang near fed my face through a deli slicer. Gaah.
    - The info an' videos on here are great. TQ muchly!

Hey, can you actually make a brush of dog fur? Our Huskies shed constantly and might as well contribute to something useful.

Great photo. It all looks ... right. Makes me want to go out and get a bunch of cool looking manly products to push DW's stuff out of the way.

    R&R Wednesday
I went back to Rhaosody and Russe today and the shave was top notch. The lather monster did its job well, and Der vorschlaghammer eradicated my stubble in comfort. The whiskers didn't know what hit them, leaving my face smooth and drama free. Cologne Russe wrapped it up right.

Today's shave was awesome - smooth, very cooling and comfortable thanks to the Gada Cool Mint cream. My new Omega brush worked really well.
