    4/14/2014 I got it in a PIF week/Menthol Monday!

Prep: Hot shower with L'Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash, home made PSO
Razor: Muhle R41 2011, Wade & Butcher Bow straight razor
Blade: Personna Platinum Chrome Red pack (5)
Brush: Vie Long Horse Hair 23mm knot
    Soap: Yeti Snot shaving soap
    After: Home made ASB
    After Shave: Barbon after shave
    Cologne: Tabac Rouge sample

A 2 pass Darn Fine Shave + this rainy morning. The Yeti Snot I got in a PIF. It definitely wakes you up and the Barbon keeps the freezy feeling going.

    Have a blessed day!

    Prep: CeraVe cleanser
    Soap: HTGAM Synergy unscented
    Brush: Plisson synthetic
    Razor: iKon ShaveCraft
    Blade: Astra SP
    After: Cold rinse, CeraVe

Excellent shave. The HTGAM soap lathers up so easily, it is a very good soap. After my BBS result yesterday, I didn't have much to clean up this morning, so I skipped my final against the grain pass. My face feels great, but I know I will have a 5 o'clock shadow by the end if the day.

It's a really nice cream, but I wouldn't pay that much for it.

If you would like to try it, PM me your address and I will send the rest of the sample your way.

The scales are Ox Horn. I made the spacer out of a salvaged Buffalo Horn scale. I agree, the Erns are excellent razors! :happy088:

    Shower
Prep: Lime & Tea Tree PSO
    Brush: Omega Pro 49
    Soap: Stirling Frozen Tundra
    Razor: EJ DE89L
Blade: Rapira (1) (PIF'd by Lutebro)
    Post: Nivea Sensitive
    Aftershave: Aqua Velva Ice Blue

The chill from the Frozen Tundra started to appear at the end of the 1st pass and by the 3rd pass, my face was just past pleasantly cold. This will be a great soap for the blistering Phoenix summer heat that's waiting just over the horizon.

My first shave with the Rapira (thanks Lutebro!), and it fell well short of the GSBs, Astras, and Personna Lab Blues that I've been shaving with recently. I plan to give it another shot tomorrow before I throw in the towel and move on.

Overall a 3+ pass, SAS with some minor irritation on my neck and under the chin. As it always foes. The Nivea Sensitive calmed things right down.

Ahhh, the midnight hour shave. Very relaxing and enjoyable. One razor today; the straight. Three passes. WTG, XTG, ATG. I don't know whether to call it CCS or Darned Fine Shave, but I got a very close, quite comfortable shave over all. The only bit of discomfort, and I'm not sure I could call it that, was under the jawline and along the neck. Still working on the angle there, so not as comfy as the rest of the shave.
But, I got a shave so close(even my chin) that there was zero point in a clean up with the DE.
I have been using too shallow of an angle(20 degrees or less), and the blade has been cutting some, and skipping over other areas. Opened that angle up just a bit, and now getting a great shave!
Still ill, but feeling a lot better. I think it's pretty much done for, thank God.
    Have a great shave, everyone!
