Like the Big Fellow and thumps up for the Lever. Do you find Lever's to produce a bolder cup of espresso for you?

    Blade: Derby Extra (7)
    Brush: WDC-8 TGN Finest
    Soap: Route 66 Sweeny Todd
    A/S: Route 66 Sweeny Todd
Route 66 Sweeny Todd shaving soap is brimming with the aroma of delicious Sicilian blood oranges, with their signature spicy berry undertone, blended with a hint of fir, warmed on a rich woody base. I don't usually care for A/S Balms, but is an exception. It is great.

Tx&Tx find levers to give a more refined cup. Like the fact that they are quite and have a smaller form factor also. Search Caravel disassembly for a YT vid showing how quickly and easily they come apart.
Levers don't have pumps or motors just simple seals and a heater.

    SHAVE OF THE DAY

    Prep: Neutragena transparent bar
    Razor: Maggard MR18C
Blade: Asco super stainless (3rd shave)
    Brush: omega s synthetic
Soap: Ogallala Bay rum & Sandalwood
Aftershave: MLS Kraken aftershave milk/ Osage Rub

2 pass shave today. Went with the Ogallala soap today, really like their scents, and haven't used the shaving soap in a while. Had to use hot water to make the lather, because it didn't want to lather up with cold water. The Asco blades are pretty smooth and I ended up with a pretty good shave. Finished off with a cold water rinse, Osage, and Kraken aftershave milk. Hope everyone had a great shave!

Prep - Woods Of Windsor Cedar Woods soap / Pre-lather / 3 min steam
    Razor - Ever Ready 1912
Blade - Personna GEM SE Stainless (#9)
    Brush - Shavemac Raptor 26/52 DO1 3 Band Bulb
    Soap - Haslinger Coconut
After - Frozen towel / Cien Ice A/S
    Result - Dolphin Smooth

Great shave, again stropping the blade is really making a difference to longevity and smoothness, although the latter tends to be a given with a 1912.
First time pairing this soap and brush but the resulting lather was about the best I've had. Haslinger make great soaps but this is my favourite scent.

Do you strop with a leather strop or some other method? I want to use my GEM Featherweight more and have some GEM Stainless blades. I'm interested in your stropping methods.

Lol I have been using the wife's phone to post and I am technologically impared. Plus there was some hot water used for lather making today, so I wouldn't count that as a true cold water shave.

Oh man did I love it. I already take cold showers and use cold water for my shaves so I figured might as well step it up and threw a good 2-3 handfuls of ice into my bowl. Soaked the brush in ice water, used ice water for loading, ice water for rehydrating the beard, and an ice water rinse.
