I'll kick off the new week now because I want to take a nap this afternoon!

    Menthol Monday:

Neutrogena Men Facial Wash :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Large Horsehair Barbershop
    Super Speed/new SuperMax Blue
Tryphon Permafrost Shaving Stick :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
Gold Bond Moisturizer :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
Proraso Green AS :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Fahrenheit EdT

Not as intensely-frigid as my usual Menthol Monday selections but still very nice and icy. The Permafrost stick has pretty well become a vintage item because it's no longer in production, and I honestly wish that I could get it again. It's so easy to lather, it has plenty of menthol in it, and the skincare is excellent. The Gold Bond moisturizer keeps the chill going, and the Proraso Green aftershave provides another chilly smack. These SuperMax Blue blades are also terrific - very sharp and smooth. ;) :D

    Dove Men Face Wash
    Arko Stick
    Omega Pro 98 boar brush
    Schick M2 Adjustable
    Personna Stainless
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Lemon WH
    Aqua Velva

The Arko Stick Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Omega Pro 98 boar brush. Two passes with my Schick M2 Adjustable razor and a Personna Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

This shave finished up my ten days with the Schick M adjustable. It was a good run.

    Menthol Monday Planned SOTD

    Razor: ATT S2 Slant
    Blade: Gillette Bleue Extra (D12)
    Brush: Thater 4125/2 2 band
Bowl: Doug Smith 5" Shaving Mug
    Pre Shave Scrub: RazoRock GLO
Pre Shave Balm: TSD Iced SubZero
    Shave Soap: Chiseled Face Cryogen
    Post: Monster Alum Block
    Aftershave:Alcolado Glacial

I haven't lathered up the Cryogen yet but upon cracking the lid I can already tell everything I have read about this super hyper mentholated tallow soap is in fact true. Definitely clears your sinus and you can see menthol crystals reflecting back at you within the soap. I know I'm going to like the ice cube effect on my face but again not a fan of vapor rub but less so than the original Glacial I tried two years ago that was banned from the bathroom. The first time I use this I will use it straight but will experiment with either adding a small of amount of EO in test batches or creating a super lather by blending with another soap or cream to override the super menthol aroma. I was successful with blending with the spearmint glacial so hopefully I will be successful with the Cryogen.

Nice chill from the TSD 'iced' stick— great fragrant lather, too! Ultra-comfy 3-pass shave using the Bresnick. A great way to start the week ahead!

    Have a blessed Monday, everyone!

    Menthol Monday
I traded for Stirling Return from Elba recently and gave it a try today. I had trouble making lather from the croap, I wasn't sure if I should smear some on my face or load from the tin. I did a little of both, and the lather was adequate, but not all that it could be. I think I should wait to try again until a day when I have more time. I did the last two passes with Krampert's Frostbite soap and finished with the matching aftershave. It was a solid drama free shave overall. The scent of the Elba is strong and I can still smell it a bit. It's a savory spice - no sweet notes here. It reminds me of tea and thyme.
