My last shave with Igor so thought I'd give him a good send off, my favourite brush and the wonderful scent and performance of Tabac.
Each shave with this wonderful little razor just gets better and better, I'm very sorry to see it go.

It`s been forever since I`ve used my beloved Atra, (1st pivoting razor). When my tremors began, I needed some way to avoid a blood bath. Along came the Atra (no meds). I did pretty good with this set up, only 1 pass and hardly any clean up. We`ve come a long way since then. Anyway, this morning, a 2pass shave, WTG/ATG with a little clean up and some patches with lather, a cold water rinse and a liberal amount of Afta to come out with somewhere near a BBS. A Happy Camper. Wishing great shaves for all, God Bless.

The break in of the new boar continues...

 

I was packing up my razors and realized that haven't used this Gibbs razor in a long time. Trimmed a Wilkinson blade to fit and had a nice shave. I often wonder why they called this razor adjustable, I mean on setting 1 the gap is pretty big after that it's essentially a devette. Ride the cap on this one for sure.

Tonight's shave was with a newly acquired, restored(kind of), and honed razor. I had a very smooth 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS. I was caught by the spike tip, because I wasn't paying attention. It was a bleeder. Oh well, it was small, but deep.
