First shave with the Clix was a little unnerving, it's very mild and finnicky about angle (resemblance to the Simplex purely superficial), this second much much better. I see a North Shore head replate in the offing. The 30g head does benefit from a heavier handle then the stock Bakelite one.[IMG]

Sure, your devotion to the Clix was largely responsible for my giving it a go.

Hm...is he angry with me, or grateful to me? Or a little of both? If unhappy, I could always offer to buy his as a backup to mine...

    Razor: SMX - 3
    Blade: SMX - 3 Cart (2)
    Pre Shave Oil: Homemade
    Brush: VDH Badger
    Lather: Proraso Green
    AS: Mennen Afta
    Newspaper Date: Jan. 11, 1944

What a difference a day makes (like they say). With the pre shave oil and Proraso, the easy, smooth 2 pass, WTG/ATG shave went by, like falling off a log. One little weeper, that the cold water rinse took care of, easily. A Happy Camper wondering why 3 blades, when my Gillette Guard does the same thing with just one blade. The only real plus, is the hair that grows real crazy on my neck is cut a little closer. I`m comparing similar tools, (cheap carts). Oh! my shave, Really close to a BBS, God Bless.

    Bill

Hm... should I have said I really like the Clix? Might @gorgo2 think I want to replate it just to flip it for the big bucks no doubt it would bring...

Hi Primo. Thanks for the inquiry. I don't have much of a den - just a corner of the sink. I want to remodel the bath this year or next. A new car is first on the list (delivery should be 3-6 weeks), then vacation! I just rotate different razors and soaps from storage bins under the bed. All the AS's are in the med cabinet and sink cabinet. Here is a few shots of my "Corner" & "fancier" razors (minus my newer and favorite Eclipse). Sometime I will need to get the gear together and take a picture of everything. Running to see Ready Player One, so not today.

Looks like you could use this razor-blade shaped razor holder that Desire Metalworks makes.

Heh, that's entirely your call and no business of mine. Good luck if you do! But if you're ever displeased and just want to dump it, you know where to find me. :)
