A very fine 2 pass shave, WTG/ATG with clean up and cold water rinse. Two small nicks due to pilot error (tried to shave a couple dry spots) That`s a no, no!! I am satisfied with a shave that isn`t great but clean and close. I`m good to go. God Bless.

Razor Emporium can do a brush revamp service, but their ability to restore it will depend on the condition of the handle. They can polish and repaint the letters but only if your handle is of a certain condition. It's best to contact them and ship your brush.

 

Amazing set! Reminds me of the Burley set I put together. The brush is a great looking match too and I never thought of using Soap Commander Endurance with it and I should have due to the brown color that matches.

A/S: Fine Lavender Pour Homme
Plan is to put an edge on this beast and take it for a spin this evening.

Soap Commander Wisdom (peppermint) for the lather, Moon and Stars three band badger brush, Filarmonica Doble Temple straight, and the classic Proraso eucalyptus and menthol aftershave. Minimal bleeding, dolphin smooth most places. I ended up basically soaking my goatee in that lather and that required a full on face wash to get it out.

Just an awesome way to start a Sunday.

I’m still learning this near wedge Lund. I put a little refresh on it on my yellow-green Thuri to sharpen it a little. It could have used a little more as my beard was heavier than normal. It did the job but required a little more attention than usual. All smooth now.

Tonight's shave was with a fine shaving blade. I had a 2 pass shave, that went very smooth, and left me with a BBS shave. Zero issues. Very noisy blade.

Razor- Dubl Duck Special No1
Brush- B400 By Tom. Boar hair knot, with 5 hairs lost.
Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy
Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice. Flying Cloud Decanter.

 

I agree Paul, sometimes those descriptions from PAA can be a bit too much, making it hard to understand what the scent would be like. Agharta is certainly unique but would describe it as a spicy floral.

 

SHAVE OF THE DAY


Prep: shower with WTF Taboo bath soap, pre shave soap mix
Razor: Gillette Fat Handle Tech
Blade: GSB
Brush: Yaqi 26mm synthetic
Soap: Haslinger Spa Sandalwood (old tallow formula)
Post: Fine Santal Absolut


Very thick lather from the Haslinger. Haven't used this soap in a while and forgot how good it really is. This scent is one of the stronger scents from the Haslinger line, and is a musty sandalwood a bit similar to the old AOS tallow. Scent paired well with the Fine Santal Absolut, and managed a BBS with no major irritation. Hope everyone enjoyed their shave!
