    what a great scent with great performance. this is an all around wonderful soap and I found the aftershave healed much nicer than usual which was a bonus! the menthol in the aftershave is much lighter than other sets which made this a big plus for me!

    655673A4-7CAA-4935-8E4C-EE48B556C1BD.jpeg Well I was going to carry on with some vintage Gillette but as I enjoyed the Muhle R41 on Sunday I figured I would continue with another German razor and so today fell to the Merkur 34G. Loaded up with Kai this razor is the efficient equal of any razor I have over three passes.

    Today’s soap choice TFS Corte Sabauda which is a wonderful Spring and Summer scent. Vegan and a wonderful performer. Could be I dare say my desert island soap! The matching AS is fantastic and will pleasantly hang with you all day.

    Off and running with a very pleasant three pass shave with BBS being the result. Topped off with the AS as mentioned and some English Laundry Notting Hill EDP and the matching deodorant stick. Perfect.

    Excellent setup Doug. Do you know how many CFS the river is flowing? Here in Boise the flow is 6860 CFS and they plan to release another 700 cfm beginning tomorrow as they expect flooding if they don't with the meltdown of the snow east and northeast of here. The bridge right by Boise State University is 9 1/2 ft high from the riverbed and looks like there is about a foot half below the bridge level. Blocked off sections of the greenbelt along the river and downtown and university.

    Fabulous shave today, from an American made razor. It was a rescue razor that I wouldn't trade. Fantastic edge, and fantastic dimensions. The 2 pass shave wiped the whiskers off, like they weren't even there. Pennsylvania steel is awesome.
