The Williams Mug Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #277 Badger. Two passes and touch ups with the Fuzzy Lather Catcher razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

This is the tallow based Cherry Freeze soap which I received last week with a boatload of of other fantastic things from Fernando and after enjoying the glycerine one so much I wanted to try this version today and all I can say is that I LOVE it. Both versions have a strong, lovely scent - this tallow one seems to smell more like Stirling’s Glacial Black Cherry, the lather works up so easily, it gets really rich, thick, the slickness is awesome, the menthol sensation is unbelievable, and the postshave feeling is so soothing as well as moisturizing. The Glacial Unscented balm continued the freeze, it gave me plenty of its own soothing, and the Arctique aftershave smells so nice not to mention what a menthol atom bomb it is. This shave was absolutely perfect!

DE SOTD, Wed, April 7th 2021

Razor: Razorock 2nd gen Lupo.72SB- MFG 2021, excellent mid range, very smooth razor for a mid range, carefree shave, excellent results from the Lupo & very happy with this Lupo purchase.
Blade: Polsilver SI(5) excellent blade, Sharp & smooth with good longevity.
Soap: Razorock Don Marco- nice citrus scent, good lather qualities, good post shave feel.
Brush: Yaqi Chianti's 24mm- excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle scrub + great lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock Amici with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my RR 2nd gen Lupo .72 + Polsilver SI blade.

Lovely birthday shave this morning. Last night the Lakers won, the Dodgers won (and Kershaw was super sharp), and Kathy and I got our second Covid shots. Great set up to the big 65 today. The shave was everything you could ask for

Brush: jayaruh custom cedar
Soap: maggards leather and smoke
Post: peach witch hazel
A/s: pinaud musk.

Another goodwill shave today, but this razor isnt a NEW version and shaves differently. Not quite as well as the others and although i dont think its aggressive i feel teeth more than blade on this head type. When it comes to these older open combs i truly believe they benefit from the thicker older 3 hole blades or 2 modern blades. The soap is good i might get 3 more shaves out of this sample. The brush is my favorite, when jayaruh took on my special request he did an outstanding job. but like all badgers, it doesnt produce lather for me like a synthetic. Still i enjoy using this brush.
