Schick N3 injector, vintage Schick Twin blade, shave 11 Bought this razor awhile back and am finally getting around to use it. Razor with this blade is mild and my first impressions is even milder than an N1 injector. I'll test that by swapping the blade into my N1 injector tomorrow and compare the results. BBS finish achieved but barely.

THURSDAY'S SHAVE Perfumed by: Douglas Smythe Razor - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "Starling V2" Blade - Personna GEM Stainless Steel Coated *Fresh Blade Shaving Soap - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "Garden of Bali" Lather Brush - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "The Solar Flare" Scuttle - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Moonscape Scuttle Aftershave/Fragrance - Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements "Garden of Bali" I'm giving Garden of Bali a whirl a few times this Spring. I really seem to identify with some of the scents that come out of PAA. I get the sense that this one will get better after it dries down. If it impresses me enough I will buy a few more items to go with it like bath soap or an EDP. Only way to know is to try this out. ***EDIT - I decided to do my first "cool" shave of the year and added some sprinkles of PAA Chill Mill crystals to the lathering scuttle (no hot water, I just used the scuttle as a bowl lather). 2 pass + minor clean up. I got some a shotgun scatter-shot of minor weepers on my left cheek. A little irritation on my neck. After a cold water rinse I went to my PAA Alum Block. I shaved the back of my neck while the alum tightened things up for a few minutes then cold water rinsed again to get the alum off. Then applied the aftershave. The aftershave seemed to give enough of a post-shave moisturizing effect that I decided to skip putting on any balm. The scent of Garden of Bali is really well suited for Spring. It's a decidedly floral scent with a light citrus/fruit thing going on underneath and I think the bamboo scent note in the mix is an amazing touch to give this a Asian vibe. I think Doug and Fran have amazing talent at making scents. I have a large wardrobe of expensive fragrances and IMO, the PAA scents I like are as good as any of my other fragrances. This one is really impressing me now too.
