The last of my trio of EndGem shaves, the most aggressive 3dot. Which definitely lives up to its description, as the alum and Williams gave a very pleasant tingle.
One other thing that I forgot to mention is the lovely scraping toast sound that the EndGem produces.

    Be happy everyone!

Gorgeous spring day, assuming it's 3°C in spring....

An excellent shave in which I inaugurated a brush that I really liked: a Finest knot with a great backbone on a handle that just arrived and that I don't know what to name.

    Cold Water Rinse
    Arko Shave Soap
    SlimGem Silvertip Badger
    T3 Gillette Travel Tech
    Gillette Silver Blue
    CWR
    Vegetal AS

The Arko Shave Soap lathered well with the SlimGem Silvertip Badger. Two passes and touch ups with the T3 Gillette Travel Tech razor with a Gillette Silver Blue blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Saturday morning - the Mother of all Grand Freezes:

    Stirling Mentholated Pre Shave Soap
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Super Speed/Astra Green day 13
Master Soap Creations Citrus Melody SS
    Prep ASB
Master Splash Creations Citrus Melody AS Splash

Gentlemen, there’s finally another soap which I can say is stronger in menthol power than the Stirling Glacials and it’s this one. This is the absolute COLDEST soap I ever used in my whole life and it took my dear friend Fernando to make it - this version of Citrus Melody has more than twice as much menthol in it as the regular one which is also damned cold, the scent is gorgeously identical, the lather is very good if you put in a bit more effort, and the postshave feeling is so awesome because it’s tallow based and it has shea butter as well as other great ingredients in it. The Prep gave me its own special care which my skin needs following a shave, and a couple of good splashes of the Citrus Melody aftershave delivered its beautiful scent along with two boatloads of the strongest menthol I ever experienced. The Astra Green blade is duller now but I still managed to get a terrific BBS shave despite my tearing eyes!

Have a nice day - be well and safe!

I was heading down to our community mail box minding my own business. I open the box and this brush handle is there. It is a very generous gift from a nameless Shave Den member. Where else does this happen? I have no idea. Thank you very much. It is a beautifully made handle. It has good weight, that is good for me. I ordered four (4) knots from AP Shave Co. and chose this one.
What a great shave. Whipped up an outstanding lather, which made for a great shave.

(As a matter of fact, I'm glad to know my complexion is due to envy and not to vaccine!)

    How's Captain's Choice soap?
