Time passes as fast as desert sand between one’s fingers: a few hours and this month will be gone too.

What does the day after tomorrow hold for me? I prefer not to speculate...
It's better to enjoy this day, staying at home, but knowing that I could go out: staying at home is, therefore, a choice, not an obligation.
I'm almost my own master. And I hope I'm not being a nuisance by asking myself to do things that I don't want to do: sometimes I'm very demanding!

I applied the same rigor in choosing my gear today.
The brush? The knot is the one I already used on a new padouk handle.
Unchanged performance, obviously, and pleasant ergonomics.
The razor? Effective: the fact that I don't fall in love with it is humoral, not rational.
Soap, blades, etc... all more than tested.
And, little by little, I'm using up the balm, just as time wears out my days. Although much slower...

    King Cobra
    Feather Professional
    CWR
    Aqua Velva Musk

The Williams Mug Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #403 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the King Cobra razor with a Feather Professional blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Nice shave, Sergio. Does your Boellis Panama still have a scent? Mine turned darker, became very firm and completely lost its scent. Sold it.

    Wednesday morning:

    King C. Gillette Facial Wash
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Super Speed/Schick day 10
Master Soap Creations Deep Blue SS
    Nivea Sensitive ASB
    Bleu de Chanel Deodorant Stick
    Bleu de Chanel AS Splash
    Bleu de Chanel EdP

My second time using this Deep Blue soap and in my honest opinion Fernando created a treasure. The scent is beautiful - it’s a close copy of Diesel Blue, the tallow formula gives great lather with lots of slickness, and it’s so skin friendly. The Nivea Sensitive balm to me anyway, doesn’t smell so nice but at least it performs very well, and do I ever love the Bleu de Chanel fragrance. One other thing I want to mention is that my Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole is one hell of a super brush! What a wonderful BBS shave this was!

Enjoy your day and your shaves - be well and safe!

    Thank you, Joseph.

Mine's still perfect in appearance and performance.
Scent wise... well it lost most of it, but it's still working as the very first day.

Considering the bowl is not air proof, it is obvious, I'd think.
And this is something I'd have corrected.
More over, losing humidity, is even more efficient but, maybe, more difficult to load.

    Curious yours changed color!
I received it on March 2014, not yesterday!

Razor: Razorock 2nd generation Lupo.72- Mfg 2021> excellent razor, perfect mid range, easy to load & a nice carefree shave.
Blade : Gillette Astra SS(1) excellent blade sharp & smooth with good longevity,[IMG]
Soap: Tabac- mild flowery fresh scent, excellent lather qualities + reasonable post shave.
Brush: Yaqi boar bristle 24mm- it shed a lot at first, very nice feel to this brush, it will be a keeper. Boar brushes can be very enjoyable to use when broke in properly IMO. Soft tips with a nice scrub with not much scritch.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of Clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Fine fresh Vetiver with witch hazel, excellent scent + a dollop of Nivea balm.
    Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 1 weeper= [IMG]Excellent shave with my RR Lupo .72 + a Gillette Astra SS(blue)
(it does not get much better shaving IMO)

I have failed to mention in my previous posts that most of my shaves have been ATG passes only. So any negative comments ive made and make regarding razor / blade performance are based on the shave i get shaving this way. Its just something ive been doing lately. I dont shave the same way all the time. Im constantly changing it up.

So the shave this morning was good, but as shave atg will do, i got irritation. Certain razors perform well and are smooth but others sort of feel like the blade tug at the hair then cut thats how it felt. The end result was a sore and tender face. Oh well as i always say “ mess around and you get messed with “. Lol
