I like that brush Gary! I feel that from a performance perspective that it punches way above its price point!

5th shave from this Ukranian razor, since bought, and honed. . I had a pretty smooth 2 pass shave, with BBS results. One weeper, under the nose. My fault, not the razors. I am conflicted on this razor, and the steel. I might touch it up, on a finishing stone, and pay a little more attention to things. It just isn't holding the crisp edge like I like. It still shaves well, just not superbly. Then again, it is some thick steel, and I don't prefer thick steel, but prefer thin Extra Hollow Ground blades.

Razor- Gipson Razor "Alvaro". Ukraine. 8/8 inches
Brush- B-400, By Tom(@twhite ). Omega Boar knot
    Soap- ARKO
    Aftershave- Florida Water

    Friday morning:

    L’Oréal Men Expert Facial Wash
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Junjie/Rapira day 5
    Delmy SC
    Prep ASB
    Aqua Velva Sport AS Splash

This morning I grabbed the first thing in front of me and it turned out to be the Delmy cream from India which is actually very good. It has a nice clean scent with some minty notes, it’s a pleasure to lather, it gives lots of slickness, there’s a pleasant menthol sensation, and it’s very skin friendly. The Prep and the Aqua Velva Sport aftershave were a perfect finish. Three passes gave me a helluva great BBS shave that was really enjoyable!

Have a good weekend - be well and stay safe![IMG]

    Friday's Cold Water Shave

    Cold Water Rinse
    Morning TOST Shave Soap
    Tom's B400 Two-band Badger
    Bunny V3 Injector
    Supply Black Label Blade
    CWR
    Aqua Velva Musk AS

The Morning TOST Shave Soap lathered well with the Tom's B400 Two-band Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Bunny V3 Injector Razor with the NOTSO comb and a Supply Black Label Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor : Yaqi SE Excalibur AC 50mm with a Yaqi Milano polished 316 SS handle- Mfg 2021>, mild to tame mid range, simple design for clamping blade, small head parts(I assemble under wash cloth) I get close shaves with this razor almost every time.
This morning had a excellent close carefree shave with no issues.
Blade : Schick proline P30 50 mm- sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity for a AC blade. Matches well with this razor.
Soap : Yaqi Musketeer rapier- nice sharp scent(Aramis ?) with excellent lather qualities. Yaqi Commissioned Master soap creations of S.A to create their line of soaps and after shave splashes.
Brush : Yaqi "Casino clubs" 26mm boss knot, excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. One of my favorites.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Witch hazel beard cleanse + Yaqi Excalibur rapier + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : 1-10 dial - Copy (2)2 template 10.jpg or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=[IMG] Excellent shave with my Yaqi Excalibur 50mm SE with a Schick proline 50mm blade.

That makes sense Gary! After giving the brush a quick rinse I soak it in enough water to cover about half the bristles. At some point I might purchase with a plastic/acrylic handle.
