    Shaving recipe for today.

    Prep: Warm shower:/Dove Men+Care Clean Comfort Body + Face Wash.

    Pre:
    Cold wet flannel to my face.
    Pears Original Transparent Bar Soap.
    Brush: Wilkinson Sword synthetic.
    Bowl Lather.
    Bowl : Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
    Lather: Vitos Vegetal shaving soap.
    Blade: Statum Platinum Chrome (D1)
    Frankenazor: Muhle R41 (2013) / Schmidt R10 Handle

    Post:

    Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse/Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel. /P&G Old Spice Original ASL./Nivea Men Fresh Kick ASB.

    Early morning Shave,

    Comparison Frankenrazor shave of the week with the Muhle R41/ + Schmidt R10 Handle. The verdict ?

    I went back to original R41 top cap just for comparison, and could instantly feel that the Frankenrazor feels smoother with the Yaqi Mellon open comb top cap. Adding to that, the Schmidt R10 handle weight makes the razor feel more balanced when shaving...However, that said I will continue to use the razor with both caps & the Schmidt R10 handle in future shaves.

    This morning i went for the Vitos Vegetal with it's wonderfully 'Full On' vibrant sweet almond scented shaving soap. If you like almond scented shaving products this soap will surprise you with it's fragrance performance and post shave feel...Superb stuff!

    Another close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Fresh Kick ASB.

    My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine. ;)

    Simpsons Trafalgar T3 - Reef Break - Feather ACSR-RBL/Feather Professional #3 - Williams Aqua Velva

    A Welsh Soap (Swansea) for Artisan April. Peppermint and Aqua come through and it takes a lot of water. I found this in a little craft shop near Fishguard. Very nice!

    The Tabac Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #371 Badger/Boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the GEM Damaskeene and a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Razor     : Yaqi SLOPE slant 316 SS 2nd generation Yaqi slant with a Yaqi "Chippendale" Darwin looking handle- Mfg Jan 2023>, mild to tame mid range depending on blade used, well designed + one of a kind torsional slant with the sloped safety bar. Machining and finish are adequate with great QC.
    I like to use a Kai SS extra wide in this razor for just a little more blade feel. Todays shave was a excellent stellar close shave and mostly a carefree shave.
    Blade : Kai extra wide blade, sharp & smooth with excellent longevity, Kai SS is 9/1000 inches or .0045 inches per side wider.
    Soap : Cyril R Salter Wild Rose- interesting nice scent of Rose + excellent lather qualities, very soft texture with mid range scent, 1st use and I also really enjoyed their CRS Sandalwood herbal scented cream also so I thought I should try their rose scented soap or cream. 1st use of any Rose scented cream or soap.
    Brush : Yaqi " Cavern lake" 24mm synthetic, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
    Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
    Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
    Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
    Results : 1-10 dial - Copy (2) 1 10.545.jpg or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 1 small chin blemish weeper =[​IMG] Excellent stellar close shave with my Yaqi Slope slant with a Kai SS extra wide blade.
