I just saw this new handle, I'm interested in another Chippendale Darwin looking handle if the price is right. The Tsuka looks interesting and will have to read some of the reviews before pulling the buy trigger!

The Williams Mug Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #371 Badger/Boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the GEM Damaskeene and a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and Cella After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

It’s been a long time since I last showed my brother Jaco’s soaps any love and that’s not nice of me so today I grabbed the Shark Dive. This soap is glycerine based, it has a very pleasant scent that I can’t describe, it gives lots of rich, thick, creamy lather with lots of slickness, and the postshave feeling is very comfortable. The Aveeno moisturizer is so soothing, and the Groom aftershave which is made right here in Montreal smells great - it’s alcohol based but strangely enough it has no sting to it. A tiny little weeper on my right cheek which healed with my cold water rinse, otherwise a perfect three pass BBS shave which I really enjoyed!

Pre: PAA Cube // Razor: GEM Damaskeene // Blade: GEM Stainless // Soap: The Sudsy Soapery Crimson Red // Brush: Shavemac // Aftershave: Ebenholz Balm

Just to make it quick and dirty…good shave. The angle and the blade was quite a bit unusual to use after a long time, but after a few strokes everything was fine. The soap is a top notch soap. Great great lather, the scent is right up my alley. After 2,5 passes i was nearly BBS. The Aftershave Balm paired well with the soap.

Sorry for my short text, but this is my 10th working day straight in a row, so i am tired and done…

DE SOTD, Wednesday, April 5th, 2023

Razor : Razorock Lupo.72 316 SS, 2nd generation - Mfg Jan 2021> mid range, excellent machining and finish QC, easy to work under the nose and just performs excellent 95%+ of the time for myself. This morning shave was close & mostly carefree the way I enjoy it.
Blade : Personna red(1) sharp & smooth with great longevity.
Soap : Cyril R Salter Wild Rose cream, nice scent of rose 4-5/10 with excellent lather qualities. The cream texture is very soft and has some reddish color that does not stain my synthetic or my boar brush so that is another big positive for myself. Post shave feel is excellent also.
Brush : Yaqi "orbital ring" 24 boar bristle, excellent lather generator, soft split end bristles, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs+ no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my RR Lupo.72 with a Personna red blade.
