These Biolijf soaps are made in the Netherlands and they’re awesome. I believe they’re vegan based although I could be wrong about that. This Spice has a lovely scent, it gives great lather effortlessly, and it’s very soothing as well as moisturizing. The Aloe Vesta moisturizer felt great, and finally the gorgeous Bleu de Chanel fragrance had me smelling so sexy. (according to my wife!) What a dynamite three pass BBS shave this was!

I am using my Gillette Double Ring razor this week. It is my oldest double edge razor, 1905. It is also a great shaving razor. I have always been a great fan of open comb razors.

The Tabac Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #434 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette 1905 Double Ringr Razor and an Astra SP blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Another well regarded blade that I haven't used before.
This shave was excellent, and seems to be closer / longer lasting than what I got yesterday with GSB.

The razor deserves a special praise, it requires very little effort (maintaining shaving angle, watching pressure etc) and is very forgiving, yet produces excellent results with no irritation.

I now have three copies - two by Maggard (my original frosted chrome and the newly bought dark brown one), and Yintal Bronze which is a clone. Well, 2.5 razors to be precise, as I lost the cap from Yintal. All three perform the same. I just can't recommend this razor design highly enough.

Much better today than yesterday. The AP Shaving brush made wonderful lather with the Kent SS. The Weber DLC/Suneko combo is very smooth/effective. Overall, a far superior shave compared to yesterday. My face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.

After 3 months of continuous usage, the Fine soap is done. It was a pleasant focus with a great product.

DE SOTD, April 9th, 2024

Razor : Yaqi Chrome Mercury with a RR UFO handle. Mfg 2022>, mild to tame mid range IMO. Excellent workmanship for a Zamak razor head with a good chrome finish + affordable. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Gillette Astra SP(1) sharp and smooth with great longevity.
Soap : Razorock Lavender, nice masculine scented lavender with excellent lather qualities. (obsolete )
Brush : Yaqi "Purple haze" 24mm synthetic. excellent lather generator, heavenly luxury cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. nice brush to look at and to use.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : RR King Louis lavender with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Chrome Mercury razor with a Gillette Astra SP blade.
