After finishing a puck of Haslinger Honig, it was only fitting to refill the bowl with another tallow classic I discovered in the back of a drawer. Should last a good while, hopefully.

    Sunday morning’s Grand Freeze:

    L’Oréal Men Expert Facial Wash
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Super Speed/Wilkinson Sword day 4
    Stirling Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo SS
    Prep ASB
    Osage Rub AS Splash
    Bleu de Chanel Deodorant Stick
    Bleu de Chanel Parfum

This Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap in my honest opinion is a true frozen delight - the scent is magnificent, like all of Rod’s soaps it’s tallow based so it gives wonderful lather with tons of slickness, the menthol sensation is killer cold, and it gives such awesome skincare. The Prep balm is so soothing as well as moisturizing, and the Osage Rub-aka the Rubby Dubby Doo is another menthol atom bomb. Last but not least the irresistible Bleu de Chanel fragrance and I’m good to go. What else can I say - another tip top three pass BBS shave that was lots of fun!

Wishing you all a great Sunday - be well and stay safe![IMG]

    Hi Friends,

    Here my Sunday Shave (21.04.2024)

    1A8E35CA-1CAB-44C3-92B7-B5DA7CA338F5.jpeg
Razor: Supply SE // Blade: Schick B-20 // Soap: SV Tundra Artica // Brush: Shavemac // Aftershave: Alum - Thayers WH // Marbert Man Classic

I had a very very nice, smooth and gentle 2,5-pass shave. First time using the Schick B-20 blade. I think it is better than the Personnas i ´ve used till now. Seems to be sharper and smoother. Very nice blade.

Tundra Artica…have not used this scent for a loooooong time, but today it was time to bring it out again. Love this smokey, woodsy, almost „spiritual“ scent. The brush had no problems to create tons of wonderful lather with a 10 second load.

Wonderful glide and cushion. Scent is strong but not overpowering. Well done Saponificio Varesino. Well done.

Applied the Alum block, which had nearly no stinging to it, followed by Thayers Witch Hazel and the icing on the cake was the Marbert Man Aftershave. What a wonderful, spicy scent with something „mysterious / mystical“ in it which i am unable to describe. Great scent.

    10 out of 10 without a doubt.

Have a great time, enjoy your shaves and stay safe and healthy.

    Greetings
    Thorsten

Lather Catcher Sunday's Cold Water Shave

    Cold Water Rinse
    Proraso Sensitive Shaving Cream
    Jayaruh #188 Synthetic
    C.V. Heljestrand Lather Catcher
    Heljestrand Wedge
    CWR
    Lustray Spice After Shave

The Proraso Sensitive Shaving Cream lathered well with the Jayaruh #188 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the C.V. Heljestrand Lather Catcher and the Heljestrand Wedge blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor : Yaqi Excalibur head with a Yaqi Milano 316 SSP handle, Mfg 2021, tame mid range. Simple design for clamping blade with small head parts( I assemble on a wash cloth seems to work better for myself). This was my first AC 50mm length bladed holding razor so I got use to using it and I receive good results regularly( The Yaqi Romulus is their 2nd variant AC razor and is excellent 316 SSP CNC machined razor that I enjoy slightly more but not by much than the Excalibur.) Had a close comfortable shave.
Blade : Schick proline p30(1) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Razorock Emperor, nice sharp scent with a cologne twist to it + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi (Orbital ring) 24mm boar bristle brush. Excellent lather generator, soft tipped split-end boar bristle hairs, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Emperor aftershave with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : Dial 9.5.jpg or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=[IMG] Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Excalibur 50mm blade razor with a Schick proline blade.
