Prep: Warm shower:/Cien Men Energize Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Vaseline Healthy Bright Soap Bar with Vitamin B3.
Brush: Omega 48.
Face Lather.
Lather: Derby Shaving Soap Bowl.
Blade: Voskhod Teflon Coated. (D2)
Razor: Yaqi DOC Mellon Razor Head w/Schmidt R10 Handle.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water face Rinse./Alum Rub. / Cold Water face Rinse. / Boots Facial Cucumber Toner. /Yelken Lemon Eau de Cologne. /Boots Cucumber Moisturising Lotion.

A relaxing Sunday morning shave.

The Derby soap bowl provides a wonderful dense slick protective lather, which is equal to the shave stick if not better for it's lather density IMHO.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Boots Cucumber Moisturising Lotion.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

• Aftershave : Genuine Ogallala Bay Rum & Sweet Orange.
• Razor Weight : 114 grams.

Hi all,
I had a brilliant Easter shave today with the Above The Tie SSRH. I believe this razor was made prior to the buyout by blacklands razors.
I have used this razor on at least four occasions now every time it gives me a very efficient and close shave
definitely not in the mild shaver category in my opinion.
I found it worked very well when combined with the feather high stainless blade.
The barista and man soap lathered very well with good cushioning and a great on the face feel.
The shave was finished off very nicely with Ogallala bay rum and sweet orange aftershave'
1 pass WTG/ATG Done no touch ups or buffing.

PS Don’t eat too much chocolate it can come back to haunt you the next day.

The C&C GunSlinger Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #458 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the C.V. Heljestrand Lather Catcher razor and the C.V. Heljestrand Wedge gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Duru Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

For me it's the best Synthetic I have, very easy to lather even my T2 is the same but I prefer the T3.

an extremely satisfying shave today.. the Personna is a blade that I want to love because it really does give a great shave, but I find that it can be a bit 'tuggy' on my salt and pepper stubble.. still might try it with the Weber though, as I don't really want to give up on it.


Shaving.. to be enjoyed, not endured.

The TSD Iced Lemongrass Shaving Soap lathered well with SlimGem 3D Printed Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the PAA Starling Open Comb razor and the C.V. Heljestrand Wedge gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Mennen Skin Bracer AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Shave of the Day for 4/21/2025

I found the Henson +++ harsh and uncomfortable today. The shave ended up ok just not happy with it overall.
