    • Pre-Shave:
Jason Tea Tree Soap Satin Soap
    Wet Face Cloth

    • Razor & Razor Blade:
    Vintage 1968 Gillette Knack TTO/DE
    CVS Generic SS/DE Razor Blades

    • Stand By Razor:
    Schick Xtereme 3 Disposable

    • Shaving Brush:
WD 30/65 W/ Resin Handle Silver Tip Badger

    • Shaving Soap:
Home Made shaving Soap by Dr. Tim

    • Shaving Mug:
    Pyrex 10oz. 300ml Custard Bowel

    • After Shave:
    Captain's Choice North

I had no "Nick's or Weeper's today. I used only my Gillette Knack today with a CVS Drug Store Generic SS/DE Blade. I had my Schick Extreme3 in stand by mode. I got a superb shave just using my Knack SS/DE TTO Razor today. The soap that I used was or I should say is a winner. I would say that Dr. Tim Wilkins has a great soap. It's not overly pungent in aroma or odor. I as my wife "She Who Must be Obeyed" says it has a "Fresh Clean Scent" and that it makes you want to inhale very deeply, "like inhaling Fresh Spring Air" at the early dawn.

    Sunday:
hot shower w/T&H Grafton bar soap
    Taconic unscented PSO
    Frog Straight 2 passes
    PAL Adjustable 2 passes
    Schick (2)
    Omega boar
VDH Luxury soap in a warm mug
    Thayers unscented w/aloe
    alum
    Royall Muske cologne

Good shave this morning; just not enough time to enjoy it or take pictures. Have an unplanned project at work (read overtime) that was announced recently after I volunteered for some civic events so I'm a busy boy for the next several weeks. Despite that, I decided to take 2 hours today and hit a nearby antique show that is only held 6 times a year so the wife and I drove separately to church. I was running late and ended up in confession (unexpectedly) when an officer didn't like how fast I was going. Fortunately he let me off with a warning (which I thought only happened to cute chicks). I mean, here I am, a longhair on a motorcycle claiming to be on my way to church... Interestingly enough I had an extremely clean shave and the officer had day old stubble. I almost mentioned something about shaving but wisely kept my mouth shut. I managed to slip into the pew right after the first song (and no, I didn't tell my wife I was speeding on the suicycle)(probably will have to repent of that, sometime).

Picked up some treasures at the antique show this afternoon so I'll need to post them in The Haul along with a couple things I picked up on one of my lunch hours last week just as soon as I can find a spare minute to take some pics.

Sport a clean shave and obey the speed limit.

    Hot shower
Prep: Lime & Tea Tree PSO
    Brush: Vulfix Super
    Soap: Stirling Ozark Mountains
    Razor: '63 Gillette Slim (6)
    Blade: Voskhod Teflon coated (2)
    Post: Thayer's Cucumber WH

Forgot the last 1/4 turn on the Slim until my third pass, and paid for it with a couple of small weepers today. A little Thayer's Witch Hazel took care of them quickly. The Ozark Mtn is one of my favorite soaps. Love it's fresh scent.

Erik Redd Lizabeth, baby, I'm comin' to join ya.

    Spent all week with...

Cella (from brick) face lathered with various brushes
GEM Featherweight with SS blade - one blade for all seven shaves
3 passes, cold water splash and Masters Bay Rum

The Cella from the brick is good, but I have to say I preferred the TOBS Sandalwood cream I used last week. It could be because it's old (it was a piece I got from the Nationwide box) but it doesn't have much scent and the lather was a bit thin on the third pass for most shaves. Maybe I didn't spend enough time loading the brush.

    Hot Shower
Pre-Shave: Generic Williams' Pre-shave from Walgreens
    Razor: Utopia DE razor
    Razor blade: Dorco T-300 (2)
Shaving Cream: Arko Extra Fresh Ice Mint Effect
Postshave soother: Shea Nation Tea Tree Aftershave Lotion
    Aftershave: Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve

Tonight's shave was not the best I have had. I guess I was distracted mentally and ended up nicking myself a few times and left myself with some minor razor burn-probably from too much pressure or bad angle.

First time I used the Special Reserve. Love the scent.

    Hotel soap
    Semogue 1460 Boar
    Becker Travel Scuttle
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Ogalalla Bay Rum & Sandalwood ASL

Late shave tonight due to early start in the morning. (Both days) With my Wife traveling with me there is LIMITED time at the mirror! ;)
No photo this shave. I forgot to pack a tub of Shave Soap so I had to use the hotel soap. Not exactly the best for sure. This shave was pretty primitive by my standards. I'll be glad to be back home to the good ol'e shave den tomorrow. :shaver

In today's color scheme from GTP, I believe it would be Hamada and Purple. However, there is a little more green and brown around the mid-section/handle than today's scuttles. Also, more yellow highlighting the swirl lines. All-in-all, a beautiful piece of pottery.

I have looked all over town, at CVS, Rite-Aide, Walgreens, Von's, Albertsons, Krogers aka Ralph's Food 4 Less, Walmart, Target. I have yet to find any pre-shave oil. I can find all kinds of pre-shave for use when you use an Electric Razor.

I had to get Pre-shave oil at a different store. I bought the Anthony's brand. IT is ok but a little sticky.

The WIlliam's definitely did not provide a good cushion. I ended up with some minor razor burn as well as some nicks.

All my local Walmarts have ShaveSecret and it's inexpensive. Not sure on Walgreens but the Meijer stores here have Somersets which is also a good preshave oil.
