    Astra Superior Platinum

    Dickinson's WH
    Aqua Velva Ice Blue

It was a very nice shave today, starting with Cremo Shave Cream as a pre-shave. The Van Der Hagen Luxury shaving soap face lathered well with my Semogue 1305 boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the EJ89 w/ Utopia handle and Astra Superior Platinum blade provided a close comfortable shave. A cold water rinse followed by Dickinson's WH and Aqua Velva Ice Blue after shave finished off this great shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I had to really force myself not to use a Stirling mentholated soap this morning because the Black Ice was calling me, but instead I selected the Egyptian-made Ingram Green cream, and I think I made a good choice. It lathered so easily from a small dab on both cheeks, and it makes the original British version feel warm. The 444 balm and the Penguin delivered a freezing sensation which lasts for a good long time. The Sharp blade should last for another two shaves. (hopefully) ;) :D

Have a great weekend, folks! :)

I used the LEA Cream today. This Spanish cream generates an easy, thick lather with a great scent. Great shave today. I finished up with the LEA Aftershave Balsam.

Prep: Warm wash with Stirling bath soap
    Lather: Godrej Cool Menthol
    Brush: Vie Long 13061
    Razor: Merkur 34HD
    Blade: Wilkinson Sword
Post: Cold rinse and Cat O'Nine Tails

The Wilkinson Sword blade really let me down today. Tuggy, painful, just not good. But, I finished up and the results were a CCS on my face and not so good on my neck. The Vie-Long brush wasn't great at face lathering the cream today, but did okay. I decided to finish the whole experience with a head shave using a sample of Dr. Tim Wilkins' homemade soap (look for a review on another thread) and using a Gillette Ball End Tech and a Super Max Super Platinum blade. Nice!

    Ich bin Tabacer
I love Tabac! The lather could not be easier, slicker, thicker or more comfortable. My HIS brush is really spectacular. After using my Plisson for a couple weeks, I see how my HIS makes more lather more quickly. I remember why this brush is my favorite. Nothing against the Plisson, but I like the bigger brush in my bigger hands.
The Tabac hair cream, deodorant, and EDT all compliment the soap perfectly for me.

    Prep: RR/HTGAM lime menthol
    Soap: Tabac!
    Brush: HIS synthetic
