For a darn near BBS!

Wow, the Chinese Schick blade feels like it's on day one. One of the smoothest shaves yet. Two passes with touch-ups is a new thing I'm trying and I like it! Today I found the right angle for my neck during touch-up (I didn't yesterday) and it was a eureka moment!

I've been favoring Captain's Choice lately, can't help it it's amazing in every way.

Weird little no-name, bake-a-lite razor showed up in a box with other stuff from the bay a long time ago. Had been used a bit but gives an excellent shave.

You should try their Captain's Choice Lime. It should be released soon. I have a sample of it and it's made me change my feelings on scented aftershaves. This stuff is refreshing!

Wow! After 3 days of not shaving, I hit a BBS! I think the Dr Bronners as a prelube, in combo with an excellent soap contributed greatly to this shave.

Got the Ogallala BR sampler, all the flavors smell wonderful, but may be a little too clovey for my tastes.

 

I am seriously considering legally changing my name to "Lord Emofresh". I cannot read that without thinking of some pretentious goth kid.

No after shave lotion calms an irritated face like Masters Bay Rum. It's a true "lotion", I can feel the slickness in it and it just makes my face feel so dang good. Even after a bad shave like tonight's. I think the long handle threw me off, haven't used it in a while and applied too much pressure on my neck during passes 2 and 3.

Lately I've been using a lot of soaps and that's good because I need to re-visit stuff which I've been neglecting. This new version of Proraso White is so terrific - the lather is awesome, the skincare is so soothing, and the menthol effect is very noticeable. The Anherb/Rubby Dubby Doo combo is a great way to finish a nice shave.
