Route 66 Bourbon Jungle today. 20 seconds to load the oscar11/TGN Finest brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette Platinum Plus in the Gillette NEW SC. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Anucci Sport EdT.

SOTD: My first shave since Monday morning; vintage Dubl Duck 'Satinedge' 5/8," Soap Commander 'Renewal' soap and matching mentholated aftershave balm, Omega silvertip brush. Fresh floral fourgére scent to the soap with the expected top shelf performance! Great way to end a four-day shavecation! Have a blessed Friday, all!

A very nice two pass, ATG/ATG (XTG) clean-up. "All Quiet on the Western Front", so smooth and really felt good. Why has my font changed? Anyway I had to use my Schick G4 with the small clean-up (which was a stroke of genius). It`s so hard to judge yourself, but right now I feel a BBS. A Happy Camper am I, wishing great shaves for all. This is one of the Dirty Deeds soaps sent to me by @Drygulch, and I can say it is one great performer. It produces a very thick and rich lather which provided great glide for an excellent and very smooth BBS shave.

Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (4)
Lotion: Omega Alum Stick / Barbasol 'Brisk' After Shave

The Gillette Silver Blue is a fine blade paired with the Rockwell's R4 base plate, producing a smooth and very close shave. The Barbasol splash is another retro lotion that I have tried of late, largely from curiosity, and I would liken it to giving a vintage blade a go. In that way, there is an intangible to it.
