Empty Words, would you recommend the Proraso AS? I heard it was quite good. I'm going to venture away from my Pinaud Clubman soon, as I'm looking for some cheap variety (but still have that same threshold of quality).

Jeff, I know you've said the La Toja reminds you of D&G Pour Homme. I don't know that scent, but I think LT shares more than a little in common with Grey Flannel. I may be insane, though.

Tim, you may be right, and I may be wrong--I smelled just before my La Toja stick, and there does seem a resemblance in Grey Flannel!

The Super-Max blade didn't give as smooth nor as close a shave as the Gillette Super Thin blade. I dialed the Futur up to 2 after my first pass. Decided to settle for a DFS at three passes.

This Tech is fine, oddly designed and green-handled. Short, vintage-style handle.

Golnar is a freakin' beautifully scented bath soap - either Persian or Turkish.

A good shave, but too fast to really be enjoyable--the Super Max in the Ming Shi did its best, so I'm quite pleased. Tomorrow, I don't care--I'm taking my time.

Nice shave from this 100 year old razor. First time I have used the Kai blade. Not bad at all.(thanks Bong for the blades) Great start to a work day.

Man.......I'm glad I started using these Iridiums again.......I'd been hoarding em because they were unavailable for many months. The blades are an excellent combination of sharp, yet VERY forgiving. Anyone with a technique problem might do well with these.......plenty of room for error if needed.
