Been some weeks since I used a Rolls. Happy to have a go at one again. Not that I didn't like the other shaves (I do!), but a Rolls is something special to me. Dunno why. It just is! :) Yummy.

    Have a great one!

I like it very much. It's a 22mm, very soft (not floppy) and lathers and holds lather exceptionally well. I exclusively bowl lather with it. It is my "comfort" brush.

    Vokshod (2)

Very nice shave. The Vokshod was smoother than on the first use, it still seemed a little harsher than the Astra SP but that could be because my face was a bit sun/wind burned from yesterday. The TOBS Almond made a great lather and had a nice scent. Great start to the day.

    Chabrawichi 555 Cologne

I would rate this shave as a good DFS+ verging on a BBS. It could have been smoother, but I was sort of rushed. The Kool Frosty cream from Bangladesh gets only one :love055: sign from me because it lathers and cools very well, but it lacks in a very important feature - the scent. It's a marine type of scent, which is not really up my alley. The Anherb conditioner and the AV gave me so much extra menthol cooling, and the Chabrawichi cologne is from Egypt, and it has a very nice lemony/lavender scent. ;) :D

    5/8 Bismarck Razor Works
    Musgo Real Lavender
    23mm Shavemac knot

A beautifully simple, bone handled German made razor that's a great little shaver. I'm a little unsure about the Musgo, it seems to irritate me a little. Have a good one.

Schick I2 Injector 'Hydro-Magic' with Schick blade (1)
Omega 20102 Pro Boar (thanks Gairdner)
    Ingram (thanks Gairdner)
    Witchhazel
    Gillette Cool Wave

    Cold water three pass+ for a DFS+!

First use of the Hydro-Magic, Omega brush and Ingram (thank you Gairdner for the latter two!) and had a most comfortable shave! Wow, the Hydro is a smooooooth operator! Much milder than the E2 type I'm used to, it will take getting used to but I sure love the experience after my first shave with it!

The Omega 20102, wow, simply wow. It's like painting with cloud-tipped hair. It's so soft (already broken in) and mixed the
lather so effortlessly. I still have technique to practice but the lather I got worked fine, no irritation afterward.

The Ingram smells amazing, and it's such a lubricating lather, the menthol feels soothing combined with my ice cold water!

    I feel so good.

    Aces!

    Star Wars Day shave

    uploadfromtaptalk1367695360363.jpg

    Gillette #77
Vintage PermaSharp blade (made in england)
    Manchurian Colonel
    Ingram shave cream
    DR Harris - Marlborough splash

Today I used all of my goodies that I received yesterday in a trade. I know the Proraso is in the picture, but... the shave was fantastic! The #77 is a very interesting razor; its my first 2 piece. I love the Gillette logo at the top of the handle. Even though the razors is small, it has a lot of weight to it.

I did 2 passes this morning. Everything went better than planned. The ingram is surprisingly cold; my face was chilled during the first pass. Usually I can't feel the chill until the second pass, so I was very happy. The razor and blade combo worked very well. The blade wasn't as smooth as I had hoped, but it is very sharp! I was so satisfied with my near BBS, that I forgot all about putting on aftershave until I was dressing for the day. Then I grabbed the first bottle I could find whichever was the DR Harris, making it a purely British shave! :)

May the fourth be with you all!

Today's shave was the same as yesterday's.

Prep: hot shower, Axe Cooling Face Wash.
    Brush: TGN Grade A.
    Razor: Aluminum Ball End Tech.
    Blade: Personna Lab.
    Cream: Gibbs Sensitive.
Post: cold water rinse, Barbon AS, Axe Cooling ASG.

The shaves weren't bad, they got me through drill and made me stay within regs. Can't wait til this dog and pony show is over.
