No headshave today but I had a great 2 pass shave with the r41 and Astra combo, BBS no razor burn or iritation.I may have found the perfect blade for the r41,the Astra SP.

The Futur and Me-First Sunday Shave

It began with 3/4 of a cup of Special K P and protein, 4 strawberries, fat free milk, and some Joe. It then got more manly with a hot, piping, steaming shower and my first Sunday shave with my Futur.

It has been great since stroke one and it is a pleasure to shave with. I like a smaller razor but the Futur just feels right and delivers a great shave, great feedback, and the sounds of stubble being taken down.

A great "Turkish Delight Shave" this morning with one of the finest shaving sticks ever created. The Arko stick will never let you down - it'll always lather up like a champion, and give great skincare. I also love that soapy scent so much. The Pe Re Ja cologne is very lemony-scented and refreshing. It got its name with the first two initials of the creator's children! (PErla, REne, JAcques.)

Regrettably, I have to add one thing that wasn't in the picture (taken ahead of time), styptic. This Kampfe Lather Catcher is not as forgiving as my other Kampfe, an SCS model. The guard bar doesn't do the same great job of guiding the blade around your face, and it's necessary to pay attention every second. A moment's lapse here led to two little nicks, which didn't want to stop bleeding right away. The rest of the shave was very smooth. This is probably my most aggressive razor, although that's a somewhat slippery term.

Two pass DFS today. Spent some time working on the Bike this morning. Its all clean and shiny now, so it's time to blow off a few cobwebs

 

I just picked this up off of ebay. It looked old to me and I was pretty sure the scales were bone or ivory. It arrived Saturday and sure enough it had ivory scales with a lead wedge. Very nice blade on this razor, perfectly ground and sharpened easily. No signs of being sharpened before. $14.99 plus shipping.
