Wedding anniversary shave! I'm really liking this combination of tools, I'm getting great shaves and it's getting easier. Three passes tonight and I'm BBS. No irritation tonight, I was a little worried about adding the grapefruit essential oil to the Thayers but there was no sting at all. I'm off to celebrate with my bride. Have a great day folks!

Well in my book it ranks #1. No nonsense, pure alcohol and double distilled Pimenta Racemosa. I have 7 or 8 Bay Rum AS in my den but will always reach for Domenica first.

My first anniversary the wife and I happened to be in Venice Italy and we actually rode the waterways in a Gondola. Hope your Anniversary becomes a memorable event as mine did back in '89!

 

This is lucky 13 this year. My sister in law and our daughter are making us dinner as we speak

2 pass shave today. Went with MW soap again. Excellent scent, and the lather reminds me of I Cononali in that it turns more of a paste. Which must be a good thing because they are both great products. Anyways, first time with the Rockwell sweedish steel blades and they did a decent job. Nothing to write home about, but got a pretty close shave none the less. Finished the shave with MLS Italian Stallion which has a citrus orange scent. I see they make regular aftershaves now and haven't tried them yet, but have been impressed with MLS products so far. Hope everyone had a great shave!

How do you like the smell of the grapefruit essential oil in the Thayers?

 

Thank you, it was a very nice relaxing evening. I liked the smell of it, I only used 1 drop of oil, it overpowered the light rose scent in the Thayers but it wasn't very strong. It only lasted for about a half hour but it was pleasant while it lasted. I may try 2 drops tomorrow and see how it works and skip the ASB.
