I second your observations Perry! Proraso Green is indeed a wonderful soap worthy of any den.

 

What a nice razor.

 

HELPPPPPPPPPP - so much menthol this morning.......First, a wonderful bone-chillingly COLD shave from the Glacial Obsidian soap, then a generous application of the matching balm, and then a bit of the Arctique aftershave. Man oh man oh man, is my pretty little face ever frozen!

One of the problems with changing razors on an irregular basis is that we sometimes lose "the feel" of the individual razor. They are all different and require a different touch to make them work as we desire. I like the Pal Adjustable and have had seriously great shaves with it in the past, but it has been a long time since I used it last and today's shave, while very nice, wasn't up to ones in the past. I"m sure I'll have it in a couple of days and be singing the praises of the Pal again soon. Regardless, I am ready to go and look/smell/feel great. BTW, adding the M-Bomb to the Williams makes for a fantastic, cooling lather. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Rustic Blackbeard today. 20 seconds to load the RR/Zenith Chubby Extra Silvertip Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette 70’s “Spoiler” in the Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Reef Point Submariner.

To start off my shave recap, I must say, Mason Boutique makes a great soap! I have samples of all of their scents and I enjoy all but one of them. Such slick lather and very cushiony. Probably my favorite artisan soap at the moment.
Today's shave was a huge improvement to yesterday's. Started out excellent do decided to chase the baby, and I'm glad I did. Face is BBS everywhere except the chin area. Still working on technique on that area without tearing up my skin there (and my scar that guess right across)

It was my first ever (on purpose) cold water shave. The whole shave itself was so cold, it didn't seem too bad.
