Excellent lather, smooth shave, and crisp cool after shave.

I just got the Aqua Velva Ice Sport yesterday. It has the Aqua Velva smoothness and scent tone with a touch of menthol. The menthol is hardly noticeable but does add a bit of crispness to it. If you are sensitive to strong menthol, this might be a good AS for you to try.

 

I'm happy the iced worked for you, i had a good feeling about it after seeing it in your post yesterday.

Since ditching the cartridge I have acquired so much stuff I have yet to try. You make me anxious to try my Gem. They sure are pretty razors.

By doing it over again and again and.....

 

The 208? I love it! I got it from Anthony for like $32 shipped and in my mail the next day. He hones them and gets them shave ready. I cant recommend them enough. I got another 208 from ebay listed as shave ready and although it does cut the 208 from Anthony is just much smoother at least for me.

Very smooth shave with the Schick G1 injector. This razor has done quite well for me when I've used it the past couple of months. It needs light, light pressure and good concentration or it can bite you. I went with two passes and touch-up and ended up with a really nice shave. Two tiny nicks that were taken care of with cold water and witch hazel.

Thanks to @DaltonGang I was able to try THE VEG for this first time today. It came as part of a pass-around in the Freebies thread. The best part?? I think I may have been chosen! I put on a pretty liberal amount (for me) after the witch hazel had dried down. It stung quite a bit but cooled off quickly. I let it dry and then followed with Nivea sensitive balm just like normal. Not too long after my wife and son and I went to lunch. We ate, ran an errand, and then returned home. In that whole trip my wife made no comment about the smell, good or bad. So I asked once we returned "Okay, so how does my after shave smell?" She took a close whiff and said enthusiastically "That smells pretty good." I told her it was the Veg and she seemed to be pleased that it worked out. I would say that's a chosen scenario!

I'll use the Veg once more before passing it on. Look for the pass-around in the Freebies section if you'd like to try it.
