A Great Saturday Morning Shave! Hot Shower Glycerin Pre-shave Frederick Reynolds Chopper Arko Shavestick Omega Boar Mentholated Witch Hazel Florida Water Cologne As expected, fresh off last night's touch up hone, this razor was a beast and mowed down my stubble with impunity. I could have stopped at one pass and been fine, but I was having so much fun I did a South-North pass for sheer entertainment value.
There's a certain monotony to my posts, I know, but . . . If it works, it works. Hot shower Surrey Soap VdH Boar Brush Gem Micromatic Clog-Pruf with Walgreens blade. Cold water rinse DFS Actually, I do plan to try something different tomorrow.
Hot shower TSD SOTQ A2 Old Barbasol D/E Feather Blade Burt's Bees Brush(Yeah, it sucks, but b-day is around the corner so I make due) Usher After Shave Skin is soft and smooth.
Saturday, April 10, 2010 Razor: Merkur Futur on 2.0 Blade: Super Iridium Brush: Vie-Long 16510 White Badger Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime Cream: Rilanja Classic Shave Cream (Thanks Jeff) A/S: Proraso Aftershave Balm I played to the strength of the Vie-Long and again used a cream (bowl lathered). The Vie-Long really shined producing mounds of rich creamy lather. I received the Rinalja Shave Cream from Jeff (Crackstar) in a trade and am impressed -it lathered easily and has excellent skin care qualities. Another BBS shave and the Proraso ASB was a nice finish.
Saturday Shave hot shower TSD Monkey Farts SS Ever-Ready boar Fat handled Gillette tech Iridium blade (2) quick splash of Dickinson's WH Clubman Pinaud AS Holy Moley! What a great shave today. First I shaved the lawn, why call it mowing anymore when shaving just seems so appropriate. Back to reality, SS lathered and smelled awesomely, the razor glided beautifully as was the performance of the blade. Even the not nearly broken in Ever-Ready boar performed magically. Results: BBS and feeling like my soul has landed on a foreign planet of contentment. Sometimes, life is just good :happy005 The only thing I could think of that would have made it better would be the addition of menthol to ingredients. I noticed it was my first shave in about a month that I had no mentholated goodness involved, but other than that it was damn near shaving perfection.
Shave Of The Day - April 10th Hot Shower Semogue 2015HD Feats of Clay Scuttle TSD SOTQ - A2 Scent Gillette Sheraton Astra Platinum - Day 1 Home Brewed Skin Food Murray & Lanman Florida Water The Sheraton is an incredible shaver, though I thought it would be way too aggressive for me, this thing is actually on the mild side. Pair the Sheraton up with the new SOTQ soap, and finish it off with M&L Florida water, and I can look forward to a full day of facerbating. :happy005
