I relofted my green brush and put the knot in this handle. So my ugly green brush is no more. Fine shave this morning. These Engles are well made German razors and good shavers. Robert posted his big "Perfection" earlier in the week, beautiful razor. Have a good one.

After a week with the Cadet TP-30, I am happy to be back with a razor that I love. Having to baby and tippy-toe my way through a shave to get good results, I was now able to get my near BBS shave with ease and comfort. The Proraso face-lathered well with my Frank Shaving Finest Badger brush. The Schick M Adjustable, set on 4, made the shave very pleasurable. Two passes and some touch ups and I was done. A cold water rinse followed by Dickinson's Witch Hazel and Aqua Velva Ice Blue after shave left me clean, smooth, and refreshed. It is good to be back to my old favorite.

    Prep: CeraVe cleanser
    Soap: Tiki Bar unscented
    Brush: Plisson synthetic
    Razor: iKon ShaveCraft
    Blade: Astra SP
    After: Cold rinse, CeraVe

Excellent shave! I had two days of growth, which the ShaveCraft and Astra mowed down easily. The Tiki lather was terrific.

    Have a great day!

Tell me, how does the new Glacial Wintergreen lather for you? I have some in transit to me, so I'm curious.

A little thin, no way near MITA. It took some time to get a workable lather. With that said, this is slick and cold as ice! The wintergreen is still lingering in my bathroom. My face is frozen and nose running. I just wished I could get a better lather. Always tomorrow.

Thanks, my friend. MITA is one of the best latherers I ever saw. I'm sure I'll enjoy the new Wintergreen. Rod worked so hard to get the lather of these Glacial soaps going.

I totally agree, Rod is a master at soap making. Oh yes, you'll love the Wintergreen! It's cold! And very slick!

Ok. My Omega Boar is brand new. I soaked my Semogue 750 Badger and went at it. Beautiful lather! Rich and thick! My wife looked at me as though I'm going senile. 2 shaves in a couple of hours? Yikes! New boar, not so great! Broken in badger, excellent.

Ah, ok - definitely a well-broken in brush would make a difference. BTW, the Glacial I'm using is from the original tester batch which Rod made when he first launched this soap. I initially had a bit of trouble getting it to lather at first, but then I let the puck air out for about a month and now it lathers superbly! Thanks again for your feedback!
