I have returned!!! After a 3 day trip to Jersey and the hardest water I have ever come across, I am happy to be back to normal SOTD's with normal results. My travel kit for the trip consisted of my Schick Injector and some Aloe & Lanolin (green can) Noxzema foam. Used it once. HORRIBLE! But, I'm not blaming the equipment. I'm pretty sure the culprit was the hard water. Today was much better. I had about 3 days worth of growth on my face and the brand new Swede hacked through it with no problems. Got a nice cooling lather from the Ingrams and followed it all up with a splash of AV. I'm loving life!

Looking through the shaves today, and I see Ray's Mizzou avatar. Just got back home from a weekend at their hospital a few minutes ago. My Father-in-law was released from there today after 11 days due to an accident. I forgot my shaving stuff, so this is my first shave in 3 days.

It's been a long time since I used my De Vergulde Hand, and I really missed it. I enjoyed the lather and scent of it, and the aftershave is wonderful as well. I still needed a good application of Alcolado Glacial to get cooled off. Now, I look, smell, and feel great!
