Result: 4.5/5.0 Had to work at it. I went with a Bay Rum day. Use the Ogallala Bay Rum as both a bath soap and a shave soap. Fine as bath soap. Resorted to some tricks of the trade to get it to do what I wanted as a shave soap. I hate seeing my shave soap lather literally disappear in my bowl and brush. Poof! Arrrrgh...I beat the sucka though. Creative hand lathering and face smoothing by brush and hand showed it who's boss.
