What an incredible shave! So good that even a work day will be tolerable. If the rest of the day is crap, I had 30 minutes of Carribean vacation just now. Coconut Lime Verbena soap, Bob Marley and Jimmy Buffett provided the morning shave tunes. I wound it up with Clubman Bay Rum and M&L's Florida Water. I imagined myself as Hemingway, waking up at the crack of noon in Key West after a long night of debauchery. I make myself a Cafe con Leche and take my shave out on the balcony. I feel the refreshing tradewinds and smell the ocean. Life is good.

Great Erasmic lather and a typical first day shave with the Gillette yellow bordering on slightly irritating despite palm stropping (I don't have any clue whether this has any effect or not). Two and a half face passes, then two passes with the Mach 3 on my head (I hate to admit it, but I do a better job on my head with the Mach 3 than I do with a DE)...then forgot the balm and went straight for the Alt-Innsbruck. DOH!
