Yeah I had it cranked to seven and it bit me on one spot. So I'll try five next time. And I agree completely the shave was very nice!

This concludes today's shaving-related remedial French lesson on TSD......Dieu Merci! :D

Probably both in this particular case, I'm not the best at making "wet" lather and I did let it sit on my face longer then normal...

I just double checked and it has been over 6 months before either of my straights have seen anything other then a leather strop. :shocked003: I think I might have to put a little more effort in looking for a finishing stone...

    Ikon Shavecraft 101 w/Crystal
PC Royal Water Creed SS (Thanks Guy)
    Georgetown Scuttle
    Lijun Finest Badger
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Gold Bond Moisturizing Lotion
    Stetson Cooling Moisture ASL

Showing the DE's some love this morning. It seems like the Ikon Shavecraft 101 has a pretty devout following. It is a very mild shaving razor but quit efficient. I really enjoyed using the Lijun Badger (haven't used it for awhile) and the Royal Water Creed SS is excellent; love the scent! :happy088:

I like Al's play on words and he might have a thing for Mafioso movies naming two of his soaps fougére about it and Goodfella's have that New York/New Jersey Italian spin to them.

I thought I'd put some Pinaud Virgin Island Bay Rum in a spray bottle to use on my trip; WOW! when I sprayed it, the scent cloud took my breath away. It was a little too strong for the spray application. :D

I don't know if technique makes a difference or not. Maybe it is the sprayer. I start on one side of my face and make 5 short spray from left to right. Then I spread it with my left hand. I have not had a problem with scent clouds. YMMV as use-you-all.

Most likely it's the sprayer I used. The heavy Clove spice in the VIBR really chokes my lungs though so, it has a lot to do with my tolerance to the VIBR.
I use a sprayer for the Witch Hazel and it doesn't bother me at all. I love the VIBR so, I will just use it as a splash on.

One advantage on having that Spray Pinaud on a road trip, Bruce....it'll kill all those pesky bugs one may find in certain motels... :D

That's true Kevin. I could just spray and leave the room for an hour or so and it's like tenting a house for termites. :D

Of course I don't know if it would work on "City Chiggers". :happy102:
