    Hey Troy;
How do you like your scuttle? Been thinking about getting one. For what ever reason I do not know why:shocked003:.

    Prep: Gaia face scrub
    Oil: Shave Secret
Brush: 20mm Whipped dog set deep
    Scuttle: Georgetown Pottery
    Razor: EverReady 1912
    Blade: Gem Blue Star
soap: my french soap mix with a touch of Gaia for a minty scent

Today was the most leisurely shave I have had in a very long time. School started today, so I was able to spend as much time as I wanted without having to parent.

Prep: soak brush, wash with CeraVe cleanser
    Soap: Petal Pusher Fancies "Scentsless"
Brush: Oscar11 custom with HIS knot
    Razor: Feather AS-D2
    Blade: Feather
    After: Cold rinse, CeraVe lotion

What can I say? This was a terrific shave! The excellent PPF soap, my favorite brush, and the Feather razor - all together gave me a smooth comfortable experience.

    Now... Off to the dentist.

    Blade: GEM
    Brush: Muhle Black Fiber synthethic
    Lather: 3P
    Post: Omega balm

Not sure why I don't use 3P more often. It is the best veggie soap I have used. Very well balanced overall performance. I guess I don't care for the almond scent plus it burns a slight bit...

Ogallala Bay Rum & Sandalwood SS
    Georgetown Scuttle
    Omega Pro Barbershop Boar
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Gold Bond Moisturizing Lotion
Pinaud Virgin Island Bay Rum ASL

I see Gary has pulled the ole' "switcheroo" on me and is using his Super Adjustable "Stubby" today so, I'll have to counter with the Long version. :D
These are really great shaving razors! I haven't used the Ogallala for a while and I love the scent. The VIBR has a lot more staying power than the Ogallala ASL so I use it as a finisher. Have a great week Gentlemen! :happy005:

Patrick, I'm not sure about the scuttle. I rarely do anything but face lather and with today's experiment in cold water shaving, I'm not sure I need a scuttle, particularly if all I am doing is soaking my brush in it. I predict it will disappear when my 21 year old son moves out to college this fall. He really loves the warm lather. I can do the same thing with my Old Spice mug for brush soaking and holding the lathered brush between passes. Definitely have a smaller footprint in the bathroom.

Since I have discovered cold water shaving, I have quit drooling over scuttles. It was probably inevitable that I would get one if I hadn't discovered the benefits of CWS. Money I can spend elsewhere.

I'm a face latherer now,but when I used my scuttle I still did the cold water shaves with ice water in the scuttle, did the same with my brush scuttle, worked fine :D

Shave of the day, menthol monday!

Pre- Hot shower + Proraso pre shave cream green

    Soap/cream- Proraso green soap

    Brush- Proraso travel brush

    Razor- Gem Micromatic Open comb

    Blade- Gem stainless steel

Post- Cold water rinse and Proraso liquid cream aftershave (grey with oat extract)

Today was menthol monday and I have really wanting to try some of my new stuff from @RaZorBurn123 and @slowjoe

First time using a my new Gem MMOC I got from Kerry. I can only say, Wow! It gave me the closest shave so far. Really close! And with less passes.

I used the brush I got from Joe and also the preshave and aftershave. I did not use the cream from the travel kit because I wanna save it for when I do travel =)

I think I'm gonna get the big jar of green Proraso preshave because it felt really nice and a good additive for a cold shave. And also that aftershave was nice and soothing.

I was a bit scared of the open comb so I was a bit extra careful ofc. But man I really need to stop letting a couple of reviews stop me from trying new stuff because I found the angle pretty fast AND....

My problem areas is no problem anymore. I got my claft/dimple on my chin really easy and I got a better angle on the area between my lower lip and chin. Just a bit redness of but no burning at all.

Thank you Joe and Kerry for allowing me to have this awesome shave!

    8/18/2014 Menthol Monday!!!

Prep: Hot shower with L'Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash, home made PSO
Razor: Gillette New LC, French Fau Frame Back straight razor
    Blade: Astra SP (6)
    Brush: Turkish #6
    Soap: Yeti Snot
After: Home made ASB, Barbon after shave
Cologne: Prada - Amber Pour Homme Intense

Yeti snot always brings the chill. It was a little thin this morning, but my face was still protected. The Barbon aftershave kept the cool feeling going for a while. The Prada Amber keeps me smelling great all day.

    Have a blessed day!!

I had an amazing shave today. The Stirling bath soaps really keep my face clear and clean. I used my Knockoutshave bowl to lather the Stirling today and it made it exceptionally easy to lather. I love the menthol that this glacial line has. I followed up with Fine Platinum for a DFS.
