She sure looks fine. Nothing wrong with dressing up a fine razor if you are taking her out.

Razor: Ever Ready 1924
Blade: GEM
brush: Muhle Black Fiber synthethic
Lather: Dr. Dittmar
Post: Omega Balm

The Dr. Dittmar performed better than usual today. It is one of the better veggie soaps I've used.

Not a good shave at all today.

Prep: hot shower, Cremo Face Wash.
Brush: Turkish #6 Brush.
Razor: Ever Ready 1924.
Blade: ASR Carbon Steel.
Cream: Gillette Menthol.
Post: cold water rinse, Dickinson Witch Hazel, Barbon AS.

I got a lot of nicks and irritation today. I have no idea what happened. The shave wasn't very close either. I'm blaming it on the blade. The lather could also be something. I got a lot of tugging and the blade kind of skipped across my skin in some places. Oh well, better luck tomorrow.

Adonis, guess what - I ordered a Frost Byte soap a couple of days ago. The reason why is because I want to see how it compares to the Glacial soaps I have. Friends of mine in Russia, Greece, and Germany have told me that this soap is a menthol atom bomb which can knock someone for a loop. The time has come for me to see for myself! :)

Dove Men's Face Wash
Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap
Frank Shaving Finest Badger
Schick Eversharp I2 Hydro-Magic (6)
NOS Gillette Platinum Plus
CWR
Thayers Rose Petal WH
Mennen Skin Bracer AS

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap face-lathered very easily with my Frank Shaving Finest Badger brush. Two passes with my Schick Eversharp I2 Hydro-Magic and a NOS Gillette Platinum Plus Injector blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. This was the sixth shave with this great blade. So far, so good. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Mennen Skin Bracer after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I have showered and shaved tonight I get ready to go to bed tonight. I again used the WTG-XTG-ATG method. Being as it has worked well and produces a great BBS Shave. I did get a BBS Shave again tonight [For Wednesday Morning] Also I did get a BBS Shave again as before I have not had any "Nick's or Weeper's" using this method. Also I did another "Ice Cold Water Shave" it was another superb shave, with BBS Shave results. I used to hate to shave with "Cold Water" but using "Cold Water"is almost like learning a new way to produce Superb results. I will continue using my Wilkinson Sword DE Blades. I did not need to put in a New Razor Blade tonight. I used my Weber 3pc. 85mm W/Classic Handle I did 2 passes again this evening. I also got another "Rudy Castiel Clean Used Car" aka "Rudy Castiel Clean Shave" aka BBS Shave! Tonight I felt no Razor Burn on my lower neck area, but I did again use some RazoRock Alum Block. Tomorrow in the morning I will again put on some more Nivea Aftershave Balm, before the Captain's Choice Cat O' Nine Tails A/S splash. In the morning I might use "Captain's Choice North" A/S "She Who Must be Obeyed" enjoys the scent of it. SWMbO also likes the "Captain's Choice Lime" A/S I think I will let "She Who Must be Obeyed" decide which A/S.

Shaved by Night...

Pre: Hot water
Razor: Merkur 23c
Blade: Gillette 7 o'clock
Brush: Omega 10049
Cream: Proraso Red
After: AV Musk

First time using the Gillette blade and I'm not impressed. It just further shows me that Platinum blades are no good for me.

WSP Wednesday
I used a sample of Wet Shaving Products Barbershop today. The scent was subtle to me, but my nose is clogged up now. It smells similar to Aqua Velva Ice Blue, IMHO. It lathers easily, and quickly blooms into the yogurt consistency I prefer. My New felt very smooth cutting down my stubble, but I did get a couple small weepers on my neck. I finished with Aqua Velva Ice Sport, and it's a good match.

Prep: RR/HTGAM lime menthol
Soap: Wet Shaving Products Barbershop
Brush: HIS XL
Razor: Gillette New LC
Blade: Personna lab blue (3)
AS: Aqua Velva Ice Sport

There just doesn't seem to be any way that I can break away from these awesome Stirling soaps because I'm so addicted to them. This Glacial Obsidian is so freezing-cold and gives everything else which I look for from a soap - lather, razor glide, and skincare. The Anherb conditioner gave me its great soothing sensation with lots of extra menthol and the Glacial Wintergreen added its own iciness which pulverizes the face. Two passes cleaned me up beautifully. ;) :D

Coate’s Sandalwood today. It just about lathers itself! Always a winner! The Rapira Swede and Slim always come through just fine too. I got an excellent smooth, close, and nick free shave. I finished with Pino.
